I find this map to be very difficult to understand for bots, because there are many villagers in different location and AI always try to move them somewhere else and they die on the way there

I use to play with bots all the time with FE version of Sirak's map,

with Resonance bot it works very well, or if you have AOE 2 DE, the new AI also does very well (wit normal AI it also works)

I also made some tweaks to the map to make the life of the AI easier, I can send you my version if you want

@Tony_Sawprano you can either download a custom map size mod or you can download Trigger Studios and make your own map sizes.

How does one get the custom map size for the editor?

How to play with bots:
1. get ResonanceBot
2. open map in editor
3. in players tab change personality from none to ResonanceBot for every player. [gyazo.com]

@dieneil, its because the japs have thumb ring where brits dont, and the elves are known for thier accuracy and swordsmen which japs have and brits dont,

The Middle earth mods not finished yet?

@Sigurd the middle earth mod was taken directly from tales of middle earth. I will wait until they have completed that mod with all units and factions before even looking at adding the mod to this map

@No1wicked sadly you cannot play single player with proper AI as this is a custom map size and the AI (normal ones) won't work properly as you've figured out. I will look into making AI that would be compatible with this map later

Hey any idea how to play it properly in single player; I try to edit scenerio so that I change the players to ai setting of standard (from nothing I beleive) and so that can play any of the players (at download can only play player 1), but when I change these things and try to enter game it says error missing water, would appreciate it so much if worked with ai single player

Adding huggieg the forceful wasn't my choice. He bullied me until I put him in. Generally a good guy though ;)

@Bendalor I completely understand what you're saying. If I put an onager limit, rams and scorpions will rule the map anyway, then if I put a limit on those, mass archers will be unstoppable. The way I've actually done the map with the choke points and defensible areas makes it easier to defend against mass onagers. The best counter to an onager, is an onager of your own. If the goblins are rushing you with mass onagers, where are yours? why are they not defending? goblin infantry (shotel spam) is very easy to counter. If your opponent can mass onagers before you can mount a defense, then it's because you're quite far behind or you've allocated your resources (say onagers here) elsewhere. In my opinion, it's not the onagers that are strong it's the fact that some players lag the game making them much stronger then they should be

@Bendalor Mordor has catapult, Gondor has trebuchets, Isengard has ballistas. Still, if they can make onagers, so can you. If your enemy can mass onagers to kill you, they deserve the win. Keep in mind that castles and fortifications have also been buffed to help counter the onager spam. I will, however, keep it in mind

@Toe-May-Toe because of the custom map size, the AI won't do anything. (This was meant to be played multiplayer)

Sorry for being retarded, but is it not possible as trying it out on singleplayer to choose another faction than Mordor? Or do i have to use this scenario in multiplayer?

@kapteeni51 sadly no. It was meant to be played multiplayer. I might do a version where AI will do something other than just stand around

I tried running this as single-player, but when I change the AI for the remaining 7 players to anything other than 'none', it errors and is unplayable. Is there some fix for this?

@Yasinturk35 just have to hit the subscribe button. You'll download the map and if you have Rise of the Rajas expansions, you can hsot and and see it in the list of your scenarios
