Here are AK-74N, not just Ak-74. Here version has planck for scopes "Ласточкин хвост" or on einglish "dovetail". "N" mean Night (Н - ночной )

Don't forget the dust cover. I was actually looking for "dust cover" as the main answer. That's something you can always see. I'll tell you what to look for if you didn't know. But yeah, the stocks are different but sometimes it can be a little hard to go off that alone.

the main differences are the stocks and the ends of the barrel, besides the caliber.

Many people can't tell the difference between an AKM and AK-47 by appearance. Some even think every Kalashnikov is called "AK-47." I'm sure you know what the difference is between the AKM and AK-47 by appearance.
