Could you make a version of this mod where the hydrogen tanks can contain the same amount of hydrogen as the vanilla hydrogen tank?

Update 1.197 came out on November 25'th and it included a Hydrogen Rebalance, which radically changed Hydrogen Engines, O2/H2 Generators and Hydrogen tanks. Among other things, it increased the capacity of hydrogen tanks by roughly 2x to 3x the usual amount.

Q: Does the Hydrogen Rebalance automatically increase the capacity of modded hydrogen tanks like these (through adjusting a value)? Or will hydrogen tank mods like this need an update and an increase capacity in order to reflect the increase in capacity of vanilla hydrogen tanks?

I'm thinking it's probably the latter, hence my comment. But a search turned up nothing to confirm or deny my suspicion.

There is an option in the control screen to refill bottles... but you can't push bottles through small conveyor openings. Am I missing something?

@Spacebar Could there be a version that has a connector at the end (maybe with it's own special base connector?) so that these can be purged during combat or when empty?

is there another mod that adds a 1x1x1 hydrogen tank?? somthing like that would be sooooooooo useful, im trying to make a small torpedo but its rlly difficult, even with these tanks

I have no idea why, but when I go to place a Hydrogen tank from this mod the game thinks I'm trying to place an oxygen tank. My select bar says hydrogen tank but the preview and placed block is an oxygen tank.

I have the same problem as Synthetic, they will fill but won't pull. Replacing it with the big ugly vanilla one makes the ship work.

@MasterShadow310 - I think it's just a reference thing; they're named oxy tanks and have blue markings, but they'll fill up with hydro.

@Synthetic - I have the same problem in an offline testing game, actually - did you ever manage to resolve this?

These are good but they are a bit of a cheat considering their capacity

idk if im doing something wrong but whenever i try to build the hydrogen tanks they all become oxygen tanks

Hey spacebar can you make 1x1x2 version of the tank for smaller compact builds?

It might be something I'm doing but for some reason the double ended hydro tank will store the hydro but the thrusters wont pull from it. I've checked over the connections and made sure everything including the tanks was properly set up, but it just wont work. Any thoughts? Weird thing is in multiplayer I have a build with the same hydrogen tanks and they work fine

I totally didn't forget to fix the collisions on this. Nope. Been like that the whole time :) Hitboxes are now fixed

I've been having a lot of trouble with the larger tank's hitboxes. It's passable in some parts and other areas seem to colide with the ground outside the bounds of the model.

Black banded and unbanded tanks would be a nice variant to work with more colour schemes c:

Nyx, I am more or less describing using Hydro and Oxy tanks ( that ones that go into your inventory ) that you could "slot/plug into" ( visually ) a small connection ... So in that way, without mergless blocks code, it wont happen... What spacebar made is great as it is.

you could make a booster pack, that has all of the thrusters on it, that can detatch, close enough perhaps?
