To any peeps that are trying to use this mod for the notes, it does still work but 2 of the boxes will cause infinite crashes. I tried with the HLNA chibi & didn't have any luck with those boxes either, so my suggestion is to get the 3 boxes you can, then us the GiveAllExplorerNotes command to get the rest.

I found having the vanilla HLNA chibi active when accessing the explore not boxes (Slowly and one box at a time) prevented a great deal of crashes when last I used this! If you are experiencing a crash, try giving yourself the chibi and see if it helps (The crash I suspect is because you need HLNA with you to get a lot of the G1/G2 notes!)

Try find that setting that disables the note window from popping up and let us know. I don't have Ark installed anymore, sorry I couldn't help more. If anyone wants to try and remake this I can explain how I built it.

it doesn't matter if the game crash, you still receive the notes entry and after round about 30 crashs, you get the message, that you unlocked every note

yeah i think those are crashing me, i opened 3 chests no issue then last two ( in middle and left one are crashing me )

From memory there was a setting you can change that stops the notes popup. But some of the last DLC notes added made it so if you open 2 of these special notes your game crashes.

Is there any secret to open notes without crashing?

I split the notes once because people asked for it. Its now 2023, If your PC struggles with ARK I think its time you upgrade your rig.

I don't mod ARK anymore so stop asking me to change things. Make the mod yourself if its that easy. The ADK is a peace of ♥♥♥♥.

Don't you have the option to split notes up more so that you don't have too many at once ? I have had this mod for approx. 1 year but not many people use it as it crashes but if you split it into several parts it might help ?

You have to use the "unlockallexplorernotes" command. Works even on Servers (if you are Admin or allowed to use cheats)

The "giveallexplorernotes" command just crash your game. Even if it worked and you have all notes after reloading it dont give you the extra levels. "Unlockallexplorernotes" gives you extra levels from exlorer notes and Fjordur Runes and dont crashes your game!

Here is how i get it to work for me:
1.Unload all your mods
2.Resolution to 1280x720 and low quality settings

That finally allow me to open almost all boxes, for the one left it crashed 32 times and no luck so...i walked in front of it, open command and type:
slomo 0.1
Walked to the box, and finally worked on the first try!

В общем, карта работает до сих пор, для тех у кого крашит на левом крайнем и центральном делаем следующее - Открывает остальные 3 ящика, далее прописываем 200 раз команду GiveExplorerNote (значение), где вместе значения поочередно вводим цифры от 1014 до 1214, и под конец открываем остальные два ящика.
ВАЖНО!!! Скин HLN-A от допа ГЕНЕЗИС необходимо надеть в слот ЧИБИ!!!

yes, that could also be good, but I can also see that there would then be lots of boxes that you have to switch to and here you can just stand still and get the same crash immediately in switching to every 999 boxes

Would it not be easier to just have the notes not stacked on top of each over? Just have them in a line and run through them, yes it might take a bit of time to clear the pages popping up but must be faster than waiting for the game to crash constantly

no i didnt open them in any special order. the sad part is you're going to crash continuesly untill you get all the notes. it's just something wildcard did and i dont think this guy can make it any easier. all i can say is do what i said and keep going till it stops crashing.

Is there a way to prevent all 200 Runes? Would like this to just be explorer notes and not the Runes from Fjordur.

one chest always stayed closed after the crash and i didnt get the notes from it.

Hello can you split a little the explorer notes, so the game can load the notes and not crash.

update: so it looks like the "giveallexplorernotes" "does" work, but only AFTER doing what i said in my last comment. apparently the d*bags at wildcard has made it so that each char has to find the explorer notes on their own, for that char to get the extra 10lvls. but if you do what i said for 1 char, then you can use the explorer note cheat on any other char and get the 10 extra lvls.

so this technically still "works." as far as crashing goes: for all of you commenting about it, knock it off. this is something that wildcard has to fix, it's not a mod problem. sadly because of the crashing; it'll take you several restarts but YOU WILL get all the notes. the best thing i can suggest is taking off every mod from your active mods list and starting this map so you can crash and restart quicker, but that's about it.

to make it alittle easier. go to (D:\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor) open "gameusersettings.ini" and copy your "activemods" numbers to another memo pad while you do this.

but that's it guys. you just have to keep crashing/ restarting till you get it. wildcard has to fix the crashing problem and seeing as they're messing with ark 2, i doubt that'll happen.

Lost Island related crash like previous comments have said, and no... I equipped the HLNA Skin for all of them and those last 2 still crash for me.

Edit: All boxes work except the bottom row far left and middle ones. those cause this crash. Those should be aberration and maybe extinction? if theyre sorted by map at least.

Game crashes when walking over any of the boxes with a lost island related crash report. i assume i gotta have to wait for an update ?

Guys I figured it out! This note map works 100%, all you have to do to prevent it from crashing is equip the HLNA skin! When you have it, the notes that require you to have hlna on G2 to unlock them DO work!

without the 'chibi' HLNA, the last two explore boxes cause a crash. There's no update needed, it works!
