Do you still need help with the scripts? I don't mind looking at it for you :)
Savar Belmont 26. nov. 2024 kl. 6:38
you removed a mod that had those functions, which glitched out the character. only thing to do is delete and remake them.
KFJohansson 26. nov. 2024 kl. 4:26
Having an issue where some characters have no torso or lower body - and I can not change any gear on them except color schemes.
Anyone have an idea of the cause?
Thanks!
Epic Dovahkiin 5. sep. 2024 kl. 10:05
it overwrites UISquadSelect and UIArmory_Loadout (making it also incompatible with Tactical Armory UI) allow the visor color changes

How does this conflict with robojumpers squad select?
Tricksrhage 17. feb. 2024 kl. 12:59
Hey! this is probably a question that was already asked, but does this mod work with the spartan supersoldier mod?
chilly beans 14. feb. 2024 kl. 20:45
If anyone is having trouble with conflicts with RoboJumper for LWOTC you can use the no script version of this mod and it seems to work fine.
RevanShan 18. nov. 2023 kl. 15:39
Hello everyone! This mod is conflicting with robojumper's squad select. Any Idea on how I can fix this? If it can be fixed. Thank you in advanced
Democracy Officer 27. juni 2023 kl. 15:24
has anyone figured out why the visor color button is not working and not showing up???

kinda sucks having spartans and everyone has this 1 dull color..... would be awesome if anyone knows how to fix this or if there is a way to fix it at all.....

i got all my spartan armor i have no problems with this mod at all i literally just can not access visor colors literally my only problem. .-.
Beach Head B82 17. maj 2023 kl. 9:31
Yeah I second Darrow O' Lykos, this mod and RobotJumper's Squad Select do have a conflict
Princess72 10. dec. 2022 kl. 13:48
does this work with the ammo and vest slots mod?
Claxeius 10. nov. 2022 kl. 16:28
Is there a way you can update this mod to include the armor sets from Halo Infinite?

Thank you.
Darrow O' Lykos 28. aug. 2022 kl. 2:53
I can confirm that there is a mod conflict with Long War of the Chosen (and robojumper's squad select). I've read somewhere on the LWOTC Discord that the mods have the same ID, but have no idea if that is something we can manually alter/edit or not.
Vegeta002 26. aug. 2022 kl. 4:02
You know, I kinda wonder why you abandoned visor customisation entirely instead of linking visor colour to the tattoo colour.

Seems like something that would both solve the problems AND give far greater colour options.
Hank_Rearden 14. aug. 2022 kl. 7:08
so its seems this mod is not compatible with long war WOTC edition. I get startup CTD's everytime i run it with this mod. Has anyone had a similar experience?
Deadput 2. aug. 2022 kl. 22:07
It's the head gear stuff if that's what you mean, the upper and lower face props that is.
Risitas_Fanboi 1. aug. 2022 kl. 2:15
ok this one might be a stupid question but where is the props menu?
Prolix 3. maj 2022 kl. 19:48
(WOTC) All Armor For Heroes seems to be a potential alternative to Unrestricted Customization. That mod allows you to just equip your heroes with Kevlar armor, thus getting all of the customization items with it. It's not perfect, but the button is still there with this mod
Drifter_Actual 21. apr. 2022 kl. 16:25
has anyone been able to come up with a fix to make this work with [WOTC] Unrestricted Customization.
Grizz_FMJ 21. apr. 2022 kl. 1:31
Btw...absolutely fantastic mod. Made me come back to xcom 2 just for this.
Grizz_FMJ 20. apr. 2022 kl. 22:42
so if you add upgraded armor to soldiers - this mod does not work anymore. I.e. you cant add the halo kits to them unless on starting armor from the vanilla game.
Hinx 1. apr. 2022 kl. 22:10
Good memories.
Grimjaw 22. mar. 2022 kl. 1:57
Can someone tell me the conflict with Squad select mod? Does it still work is it a major conflict?
Aoykav 16. feb. 2022 kl. 14:51
if you can move the button over a bit it should work. another options could be adding it to the UI menu in the customization screen and have it always be there but doesnt do anything without the the correct helmets.
Aoykav 16. feb. 2022 kl. 13:39
I found your problem with the visor button. the UI changes made by [WOTC] Unrestricted Customization, pushes the button off screen. as far as i can tell the button is still there. i figured this out by uninstalling all mods but this one and its dependencies and [WOTC] Unrestricted Customization and its dependancies. worked by itself, added [WOTC] Unrestricted Customization and it was no longer there.
MacaroniMatt 15. feb. 2022 kl. 17:16
i cant find the halo reach armor???
Thunder 4. feb. 2022 kl. 17:27
does this not work with long war 2
Halcyon 22. jan. 2022 kl. 12:41
I've noticed the visor color change button is actually off the screen to the left, as it shows briefly when closing pages on the Character Customization screen.
Ghost-G339 17. jan. 2022 kl. 5:04
Heh! Those screenshots of the Recon with Red highlights looks oddly familiar to a certain xover fanfic; Ruby-B312... LOL
Vault Boy 3. jan. 2022 kl. 23:31
The armour appears in character pool customisation but not when i play the actual game, any idea how to fix?
Deadput 24. dec. 2021 kl. 1:04
To put it simply the script related to visor functionality seems to be picky in regards to compatibility with some of the other WOTC mods.

Hence why the scriptless version exists
SAWSEGAWD 23. dec. 2021 kl. 22:45
Everybody is having the issue where the visor color button doesn't show right?
Eternal  [ophavsmand] 18. nov. 2021 kl. 13:05
@Tyler Chambers Sorry mate, I haven't done XCOM Modding in ages and I don't think I'll get back to it.
Vegeta002 16. nov. 2021 kl. 10:52
Any chance of this being updated to use the enhanced MCC (or maybe even Infinite) versions of the Reach armours?

Presumably script-less, of course.
techstepman 19. sep. 2021 kl. 6:00
im getting a conflict with this mod https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1122974240&searchtext=robojumper in the xcom 2 alternate mod launcher
Savar Belmont 15. aug. 2021 kl. 16:04
button no longer works.
Holger BlackCoat 15. aug. 2021 kl. 15:33
Absolut nice mod!!! works fine....a 5-men-Sartan-team *yeah*.....BUT....i have NO button, to change the color of the visors. In wirch menu have you insert this button?
Savar Belmont 15. aug. 2021 kl. 12:53
theres a scriptless version in existence would probably fit your issues
𐎷𐏃𐎼𐎠𐎲 15. aug. 2021 kl. 12:41
Its a shame that no matter what i do this mod refuses to work, even when i download it manually it will crash in game. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

This mod has a conflict when paired with the Long War of the Chosen mod via Alternative Mod Launcher for XCOM 2.
Poozer456 12. maj 2021 kl. 12:22
@DoomTankerz try unsubbing and deleting that mod file from your computer. it should be in steamapps/workshop/content then you have to find the right number,
to do that you copy the URL page. mine is 268500 then i open it and this mods number is 1235801965. hopefully that works
DoomTankerz 15. apr. 2021 kl. 19:31
Having an issue actually getting the mod to work. The vanilla version works great in base game, but when i sub to the WotC it does not work whatsoever. Tried resubing, turned off other mods and still not showing up in game to customize for some reason. Any idea of why thats the case?
Red 25. mar. 2021 kl. 13:46
my forearms are getting a weird dark tint to them on every armor set, i tried re subbing and un subbing and disabling all mods except this one. any idea on how to fix?
Eternal  [ophavsmand] 7. mar. 2021 kl. 8:23
I base the color selection on type of helmet. Generally most are gold but some are specific colors (e.g.: ODST helmets are blue-ish).

There's always going to be someone that wants some helmets to have different colors to make troops feel more unique, or have more variety, or whatever, and other people that want all helmets to be uniform. I honestly can't do anything about that if it doesn't involve the visor color script. I chose to go the variety route.

Sorry.
Vegeta002 3. mar. 2021 kl. 16:56
@Eternal OK.

I'm assuming the scriptless version will have one version of each helmet, rather than a seperate helmet for each visor colour? Unless it's possible to hide them when you're not using a Mjolnir torso and hiding all regular helmets when you are, I imagine it would be cluttered.

Personally, I'm hoping they'll all be gold. The primary reason I still use this version instead of trying the non-WotC scriptless is the visors of my Spartans are at least consistent with this one, even if it forces them to all be silver.
Eternal  [ophavsmand] 3. mar. 2021 kl. 16:07
@Tyler Chambers I don't exactly remember how I did it but I think it was a huge pain in the ass 'cause you had to duplicate every armor piece for every Armor Tier and Special class(instead of having some sort of filtering system incorporated into the game, duh!).

So basically lets say you wanted to add a helmet to all the classes you'd need an entry for EACH class for that helmet alone.

I mean you can always do things faster with regular expressions but I didn't know how to do that back then so I did it by hand. I'll see if I can release the WotC version of this mod without the visor color script.
Vegeta002 3. mar. 2021 kl. 3:37
@Eternal OK, I guess I'll just have to get used to only having silver Visors for Reach-style armour.

Speaking of which, would you be able to make the armour usable on custom classes? I can only seem to use it on the vanilla classes without the "Unrestricted Customisation" mod active. In my experience, that mod seems to be what disables the visor option.
Eternal  [ophavsmand] 2. mar. 2021 kl. 19:06
I wish I could make it compatible for every mod and release more versions and patches but the reality is that it requires a LOT of time and troubleshooting and testing, and energy (that's the hardest part). Never know though, I might come back to this one day.
Eternal  [ophavsmand] 2. mar. 2021 kl. 19:04
@Tyler Chambers Sadly it requires having the SDK and editing the upk (or pcc, I don't exactly remember I get confused with Mass Effect's Unreal Packages).
You'd actually need to open it and change the material color vector settings for each helmet visor.
In fact I've tried many alternatives but the issue is that that would require having so many versions of the mod that it would be ridiculous.

If you need any help feel free to message me or comment here again.
Vegeta002 28. feb. 2021 kl. 2:30
Also, the Alternative Mod Launcher lists "WotC: robojumper's Squad Select" as another mod conflict. "UISquadSelect", specifically.
