Should've definitely added some of the necessary info like their real name and if they're religious or not. I hope she is, it's a bit annoying if she isn't. Overall, the mod is good for what it is, but needs trinket support
The trinkets are a bit lacking, the withered apple and the cc set especially. I changed the values of the banner myself because +35% stress damage received paired with the -30% stress heal received is outrageous.
the cc set and the lack of basic information are the only problem. Cataphract is useful All they need is a bit of love and dedication to make her work. I personally use her a lot and my favourite team by far is Cataphract, Jester and 2 shieldbreaker, Jester being the primary healer spamming BB while outfitted with the true trinkets from the Mendicant Friar boss, and it push comes to shove, you place Cataphract in the front for a battle or two. This team does phenomenally in endless mode as it carried me to the 300 kills achievement.

I still think her skill should need some buff like onslaught attack enemy at rank 1 and the heal like Banner of the East can heal when she was at rank 2.

Great character, i loved using him as a sniper and then a frontline healer!

If' anything, I should just learn how to modify the values

she's okay. not strong but quite weak and lacks niche to make her interesting. If her backrow bow has some form of synergy even 50% damage to mark at max rank , this would be perfect. her best skill Wheeling Disengage can be only use on static rank 1 making her position much more strict for even a dance party. otherwise okay class without unnecessary riposte. but leaning on the weakside. having her as a frontline healer isn't unique enough when you can already running rank1/2 Occ and rank2 Vestal (yes, she has more than 4 skills and can stun and heal in the frontrow).

Why in the hell is this character not available in the black reliquary mod?

anyone know this bug? I installed the the character and now only appears the district of the Cataphract and no more districts appear to me

not sure what's up with it, but the "banner of the east" skill isn't working for me, position 1 and it doesn't light up

Its a fun mod. Has versatility and has abilities to get back into positions they were put in. can't say one thing or another about the Trinkets cause only got a few in my first playthrough. will probably use in future "seasons".

You know that most ranged attacks that hit the back 3 can't hit first position in DD, right?
Also, a damage-dealing class *shouldn't* be a replacement for Vestal. Vestal's healing output is needlessly high and should more or less be the upper limit of what a healer can do.
The melee attack is for positioning if nothing else, and it's usable when in position to heal, unlike pin down. So you lose the power of Pin Down in favor of your healing skills.

Not sure what you're looking for out of a class besides maybe something that's just overpowered. I suggest trying the Unchained mods, they seem more your speed.

I would have given this class 10\10, but here is why i cant.
Reason 1 = lets say he is pos4 , and you have 1 enemy left. So you are forced to use his AoE for -60% on a single target. That makes him 8\10.
Reason 2 = his healing skills are weaker than vestals. So you cant use him as a frontline healer. (2 skills become useless instantly) Thats makes him 7\10.
Reason 3 = his Thrust attack is way inferior to Pin Down from position 4. There is not even a question about it. That makes him 6\10.

animations are on point though, skill design is lacking. I dont see a reason why would i wanna dance with the character if his best skill is PinDown

This is easily my favorite class mod. It is fun to play, matches the art style, and doesn't overindulge gimmick mechanics like transformation or nightmares. I particularly like gaining a front-line healer, as it opens up new team compositions not available in the base game. It is fantastic from start to finish.

What is her name?

Had this class for a while now, probs one of my favourite classes. For anyone needing tips, Keep them in Rank 4 and spam the large AOE attack, its a nice attack to keep enemies in check. I then run Onslaught if I need to deal a lot of damage to one enemy, Wheeling Disengage to get Back to that sweet Rank 4, and whatever else I need at the time, either Tailwind of Run down. The strat works well for me and I hope I could help for anyone whos trying out the class :)

the blacksmith description of the class says "should she find himself" at one point. might want to fix that.

Such a fun, flavorful character! Excellent aesthetic and theme, great presentation and beautifully done animations for mechanics that are engaging and entertaining. Wonderful work on this one, the Cataphract is highly recommended.

Is Cataphract religious?

(After Looking at the Comic) Damn this guy just killed 2 guards, went to a chained up mystical horse trapped in a sus box with chains, and broke those chains being like "Imma take my horse to the old town road" and without a single damn given. I love it!

Thank you for making my favorite class mod. I always loving playing support characters and he fits so well in the game. His art is fantastic ('specially his lil boots so cute). You made my DD brighter sir.

How to use the Cataphract:

1. Put him in position one with a speed boost trinket

2. At the start of every single fight immediately use Wheeling Disengage for an enormous and long lasting accuracy and speed debuff to all enemies.

3. Onslaught back forwards to group heal/wheeling disengage to stack debuffs as needed or just spam AOE damage from position 4.

4. That's it. That's all there is to it.

I like using him, but he has very poor team synergy.

This class is a lot of fun to play. Thanks for making this mod!

I tend to use him as a frontline healer with onslaught as his 4th move in case of getting shuffled. It's nice being able to bring 3 ranged dps. It's also nice having a party healer that doesn't hate the abomination or the revenant, only other one being the seer.

Is Cataphract a boy or a girl?

Same here as Raxus, Cataphract doesnt naturally appear for me. I did get him when using the Kraken Society mod, but there was something wrong with him. He didnt have any quirks, all of his skills were highlighted as active as well. In a dungeon run all of those skills remain active and are actually usable (I do not have any mod that should make that possible). So yea, something must have happened here.
