Thanks for fixing the mod after author abandoned chubby
That's not how the mod works.
It just grants the player a 100% item drop chance, which means every time you win a battle, you get an item.
It's just a campaign difficulty based mod, so it shouldn't not work at this point.
Though I may be able to try to at least update the mod some time down the road, though I may not need to. Since the effect only effects the player and is only a single effect which shouldn't get changed by any update.
I'm sure the mod will work because I talked to a couple other modders a while back and they said that just adding an effect in a player only mod should make it to where the mod will still work, even if you don't strictly update it.
Thanks for being understanding guys.
There shouldn't be too much that needs to be to changed, since I simply turned it into a Player Only mod, where the item drop chance effect to the different difficulty levels.
This new launcher set up is a little confusing at first to boot.
Though I will say that I used the unseen version of the item drop chance effect.
I simply made this mode a player only mod, so it shouldn't be effected by anything at this time.
I'm just waiting for the Festag update to finally drop, just so I don't have to go updating every mod a bunch of times.
Costa beta doesn't work, fix it please :)
Maybe you should try it with no other mods attached.
Other than maybe testing it with other mods, I can't think of how it'd effect stuff in any way.
Works for every other faction i've played so far though, including Vampire coast, so i'm not sure what the issue is as i don't have any conflicting mods either.
I made it to where it is now a Player Only mod.
Try testing it out with no item drop chance skills or anything like that.
Only problem is, it's not working with Tomb Kings which is a shame.
It's actually a really easy mod to maintain.
I just updated it, which should be all that's needed to be done.
I just haven't updated this mod for a while, well, since the last big patch. So I haven't added anything to this mod for a while.
No problem, I'm currently going through my mods to see what is happening. Its bloody strange too, not sure if it's intentional from someone else or a bug of some sort.
If nothing was changed then there shouldn't be any issue - just thought I'd check with you first.
Thanks for the reply! :)
I've done nothing with this mod to effect leveling, of either the player or AI. It may be another mod that's doing that.
It's just a passive campaign buff that gives 100% item drop chance. You just can't see it because it's now for player only.
And I'm sorry I deleted your comment, I didn't mean to.
I added them to the game.
Ok, this is why I'm going to rework the mod to just make it player only.
I suppose it could work if someone were to get rid of some of the lesser items or change the items in some other way or another, but I can't really say for certain myself.
I'll ask around to see if and how I can do that.
I may try to rework the mod into being a player only thing or something, instead of having to change or add on to every new lord type or LL.
Could you please try it with some of the other races? Because I want to make sure it at least still works for the most part.
That way I'd know if I have change or add anything.
I can't do it because I need to get one of those 8g ram sticks to help my computer actually run some of my games.
Please let me know if it works for the TK Dynasty Lords. Because I wasn't sure how to go about adding the effect to them.
