@Voltron: It means that even if other factions are "clumped" on the map to simulate nations, pirate bases will be spread far and wide, representing the fact that pirate factions really aren't nations at all.

What does the "Spread Pirates" setting do? It doesn't have an in-game description.

@SlapAndSpit: As Kiame's maintaining the mod now, you'll need to follow his version to see when/how he updates it. But there's a decent chance the b19 version will work "as is" in 1.0, anyway, since the vast majority of mods seem to be cross-compatible between the game versions.

You're apparently dealing with a mod conflict of some sort. Without interference, it's not even *possible* for this mod to generate a world where every faction is hostile, unless you've deliberately configured the world to have no friendly factions.

(I'm assuming you're using the B18 version of the mod, by the way. If in fact you're playing B19, you need to be commenting on Kiame's updated version of the mod, rather than here.)

Is every faction hostile on every new game?

when i check faction every 1 is 100% hostile .... so there % that some like me but am just super unlucky ? ...

Steve, the mod does *not* make everyone hostile. It does, however, make some factions unfriendly. There's a difference. In vanilla, factions start out either openly hostile, or loving you, which is kind of ridiculous. With this mod, they start out along the full range of possible attitudes. Some like you, some dislike you. But the actual percentage that start out openly hostile is no different than in vanilla.

Kiame on the ludeon forums is working on updating RF's mods in his absence (until/unless he comes back). Doesn't look like he's got round to Faction Control yet but if he does he would be posting an update here https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=36687.465

RF has been gone for many days and has an... intimidating... number of absolutely mind blowing mods on the workshop. Upon his/her return, I'd recommend we all take 2 patience pills, because, frankly, no matter which mod *I* think is best, there are about 5 more candidates out there. With the HUGE assumption that any updates happen at all. So let us all hope, and maybe buy a Dr. Pepper. (And this one is the best, btw.)

Hey, I just subscribed with the idea of removing all the factions, to play a Alone in the planet kind of scenario, but when I remove the factions, I can't create the world. I generate the planet, but i cant chose the tile, neither I have the world menu. There is something that could be done?

Great mod loving it so far, however, would it be p[ossible for you to add a option between "normal" faction density and "high" faction density? I feel like the faction density on normal is not enough and on high is too many faction bases. This is my only issue with the mod so far, besides that good mod.

Any chance you could add some option to control the hostility of factions??? Or at least not ignore their default hostility range? I'm not sure why the halflings want me dead so badly...

No matter what configuration I try, I end up with mostly hostile factions...

"As you increase the total number of faction groups on your world, the number of groups which are hostile to you will scale upward, as well"
Now, it'd be lovely to choose how many/which are hostile since with Lord of the Rims and it's race modules they add a lot of friendly factions and it'd be ideal to then have something like the Free People vs. the (currently limited) evil factions like (currently only) Pirates

So while my game is generation more factions with this mod, I seem to be stuck only having one faction base per faction; is there something that I'm doing wrong or a setting that I'm missing? I haven't had this issue previous times I've used this mod and I can't seem to find away around it.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
