Seven years and no update...
Well... if your are looking for an updated version of this mod you should take a look at the Antagonise's Oirat: Galdan (GS version) mod!
This is an updated version of this mod which adds compatibility to the GS and NFP DLCs.

Thank you for your work on this mod! However, I've encountered a problem. In the middle of a game, I noticed that China's and Japan's unit hair color had somehow gotten changed from black to brown. After experimenting with the disabling of various mods in use, I narrowed it down to determine that it is definitely the Oirat Civilization mod that is causing the problem. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this issue, but I'm sad to say that I no longer want to play using this mod as long as it inappropriately affects the appearance of other civs. : (
