I think those random static noises are due to the audio being too short or something like that. I'm not entirely sure. x3

Haven't had L4D2 installed for a year now. And I'm, in all honesty probably never gonna make any alterations to this sound pack.

It keeps glitching out for me. Occasionally the boomer would make a really loud and high-pitched static-like sound.

They won't say the same lines every time. I've only replaced some of the sounds with gaben sounds. Just so that it wouldn't get too spammy.
