I hope one of these modders makes the swarm ships compatible will all the new biogenesis stuff, classifying them as bio-ships.

You're free to open up my mod (should be folder 1229307015 in your Workshop files) to look at how the textures work or what have you, like if you added a separate ship model variant and wanted it to use its own texture.

New Ship Classes had a mod for different shipsets but I didn't find it, either it's taken down, or just didn't come up in the search and isn't hosted by CaptainX3.

That's up to you. This mod just replaces base game textures, so any mod that uses them will do.

Honestly I don't know if before or after other mods is better, but I most swarm shipsets include textures, i.e. for me it works with 'Unofficial Hive Mind DLC'.

I can take a look at the scourge shipset mod and see if it has its own textures, it could be that it just isn't using the vanilla textures, which mine replaces. That's the most likely reason.

Hello! Is there a correct load order to use your mod with a Scourge shipset on the mod manager? I used your mod alongside Scourge Ships mod and my flag's primary color is black (and its secondary color is dark gray) but it is not working (my ships remain with default Scourge colors).

I'm pretty sure it's not my mod as it's just texture files, but when looking at the mod I gave it better compression and new textures so that's good.
If it *did* crash it's probably due to the old compression or the version number so I fixed both.

This currently crashes my game on 2.6.1 when loaded.

Finally updating! Not just version number but actual mod improvement. Smaller size yet better!

As a bonus, I've thrown in a high resolution replacer for the swarm fighter. This is notable because the popular recent mod "Forgotten Queens" uses it for corvettes.

It's probably done by now. Sometimes when more than one thing is due an update, Steam schedules one for a few hours later.
I was asleep so I'm assuming your Steam downloaded all the stuff by now :p

For future reference the downloads link will be at the bottom of your Steam application with arrows to move downloads sooner on the right of that screen I think.

Check your Steam downloads and manually move Stellaris to the top of the list if it's not done, that should update it.

Oh right! That's weird as NSC had a really good swarm ship in the original version. Maybe they left files out if that's the case.
I'm gonna have to take a look at it anyway. Also updated my mod number.

I already tried this mod and it sucks.We have space stations from the Reptilians and Mammalians instead of the stations normally used in each shipset.

It doesn't add swarm ships, it just retextures, so technically it will always work - I'll update the mod number when there's a popular playable swarm mod though since NSC removed theirs.

If NSC bring back swarm ships it should. I actually made this for NSC back when it had swarm ships in the base mod.

Yep, when I can anyway. I don't know any good swarm mods right now but this *WILL* work on any you can find, until I can salvage the files and change the version number.

Just ignore the [!] icon unless the devs change something about the graphics.

It's not standalone anyway, it's like a retexture and patch. You'll need a playable swarm mod, or the NSC races pack when it's made public.

As long as those mods are updated this technically will work too.
