sometimes this mod is glitching and make game crash, especially on shield wall and spear wall

idk what's the root cause of this incident

There is an updated version of this called Unit Formations 2024 and its a stadalone. And yes it should be SFO compatible, cheers!

Just a headsup to anyone who's still using this mod, it still works but if you find anything broken it could be because there's 1 outdated data table in the mod, if you have basic knowledge with RPFM you can easily fix it.

@spartan iron guard is one stance. you use it before activating the stance that requires it.

Hey, has anyone tried this mod for the latest WH2-patch?

Also, is it compatible with this mod? https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2429622229 (I want to load that first, so that the Empire receive the abilities from that mod, while the other factions use abilities from this mod)

@Crynsos @Richitiger Klappspaten Hello, im having difficulties playing the Yvesse currently, using Loathern Sea Guard [with shields] currently and if you put them in formation it crashes the game in battle. not sure about other units yet, but will keep playing and maybe find out. regards.

For those that are interested, this mod does work, but it also needs the "Unit Formation SUBMOD" too. So load the submod after loading this and then it should work. Not all the formations are present, but this might be because I have not played some factions. It works superbly with “Call of Warhammer Battles” overhaul mod at 30% size, so it might work with other overhaul mods too.

Hope this might help those that really like using this mod.

Hi man, this looks cool!
Question: Is it save game-compatible or do I need to start a new campaign when installing this?
Also, can the AI still enter Ring of Steel-formation in a too narrow space and crash the game?

If not this, I saw another mod that came out in June of 2021 that is called "Formations". No where near as indepth, but still works. It hasnt been updated in awhile though, but it was built with SFO in mind.

Will you update the mod on formations? Special units like the Carroburg Swordsmen don't work with your modification.

So far it's working with SFO except some dark elf units will not use the attack formation
