This year all of CIS ships will get remade, but when exacly I can't tell.

Yes before summer Providence update will drop. So far I aim to make it before 4th May, but we will see.

To be honest I don't know if it will ever be made. I got plenty of work on updates and new stuff from Star Wars and other collections on workshop, so much that work on UCS series with 1:2 scale is literally not even started. I'm thinking about redone all ships from 1:3,3 scale into 1:3 or 1:2,5 scale, because 1:2 scale is little too big for this game. I already got problems with done my 500m Zeppelin Battleship because it's on border of psychical shapes limit, and because UCS Providence would be 540m long, it will definitely have problems to be finished with full interior. I don't have idea why Keen lowered this limit, probably to make us unable to build such large ships.

But like I said, at current moment UCS will not be released in long time. However my lack of motivation to build and very low community nowadays doesn't realy help to it to happend.

I know building ships takes a while but do you have a rough idea of when the UCS Providence will be released?

In first version of ship (This one from 2017) there was front bridge, but it was tight one person flight seat, and 3rd person camera view for ship control was very bad angle and hard to look around. The decision to move bridge to middle section was only way to improve not only ship control, but also comfort in use. There are future plans on UCS Scale Capital ships with 1:2 scale size (Almost double of this one). And that one will be big enought to fit front bridge with entire interior aswell. (But also will be Double more unplayable because more blocks and bigger size...)

Are the Jump Drive still in the front section? I run the jump drive explosion mod and before, the providence would almost instantly get detonated because of the jump drive location.

You should use front cocpit like in movie. Thruster damage can be Off in advanced world setting.
