The mod is fully compatible with both B19 and 1.0

The game only gives you back part of the resources used for construction rounded down. Less than 1 rounded down is 0 so you get no AI cores back unfortunately.
If you ever deconstruct the ship computer core you might notice the same issue.
If you want to use it for non-tribal colonies that's okay but not originally intended.
I had the idea of making a whole event around it like a quest to find it similar to the ship quest.
However that takes quite some time to code which I don't have right now so unless someone wants to help me this simplified version is the only available option.
It's fixed now and I uploaded the new version. Enjoy your (now working) research enhancer.
If you are concerned about the rarity of persona cores I would like to direct you to my other mod 'Sparkling Worlds' which gives the possibility to craft AI persona cores.
However I can make an update to include this.
