However firstly, the trenches are not connected for gameplay reasons, As well as for the fact that opposing enemy trenches hardly if not at all ever connected in war, especially in a battle scenario (Which the map takes place in)
As for connections, I've found adding more paths and connections in the trenches breaks gameplay, and confuses teams who have to deal with it, however with the current trenches I've seemed to have reached a "sweet spot" that is easy for team navigation and protection.
and finally as for the map-pack idea, I am currently planning to do one in the future. I can pretty much assure you that future releases will most likely explore more complex trench pathes.
Once again thank you for informing me, Every little bit helps.
i know many people likes the map like it is, why not making a map pack with the different versions of the trenches?
this just seems like a big ol box with ugly half assed cliff walls
Dude, i'm a huge fan of trench wars and i was shocked when i came across this, can't wait until you add NPC nodes! and good job making this!
This is so realistic that i really got trench foot just by playing it. But i was good, i did some what die due to disease or a plague but that doesn't matter right now.
One thing that i don't like about it is the bombing and aircraft that keeps Germany from taking over all of the continent.
6/10
+Realistic.
-Germany didn't win the war.
