P0RTAL 2 is my favorite Valve game, the puzzles and the mechanics flow so well together, and the font was pretty cool. 10/10

best font ever in a valve game.

but some of my numbers are half screwed, i think that is 1 and some other so, it's something about resolution? because mine it's 1280 720 and my real screen is 1920 1080 (play in lower resolution for fps)

@TeakTarsier8744 This is just a font mod, so the screen aspect ratio doesn't matter. But you brought a good point - the ultrawides are getting really popular and affordable. Generally, there shouldn't be problems with any gui/hud in ultrawide - things that are supposed to be on the left, will be on left, right on right, and middle on middle. Whereas it's ergonomic/convenient to eyes, it's another talk, I guess it's personal... But it definitely not like with tripple-monitor setups that were popular few years back, where the scoreboard would be on the left edge of most left monitor so one would have to turn their head just to check the scoreboard, and turn head to right just to check ammo/weapons. Yes, that was a mess. I have an ultrawide as 2nd monitor but haven't played l4d2 on it ( I don't play anymore ) so can't tell for myself yet.

I'd recommend installing this mod manually rather than through the workshop, or at least dragging the vpk out of the workshop folder into addons and then disabling the workshop version. This way, reloadfont can be put in autoexec and it will automatically execute without having to type it every time the game starts. Normally, autoexec would execute before the workshop vpk would get loaded.

I dont get it,i create the autoexec.cfg (in .txt) but what i put in there? the link cant be open

@hoas58 As far as I remember, glyph languages use fallback font (Arial), so no, it doesn't.

@ᴿᴱᴻᴱ™ it should be in /resource folder in one of game's .vpk archives. I can't tell right now as I'm on other pc and don't remember the location.

@ᴿᴱᴻᴱ™ yes I just nicked that file from Portal2. There are no edit/conversion tools for vfont as I know of. I suppose it's Valve's proprietary extension to avoid those fonts being reused outside games.
