Can you make all this replace L4D1 music too? The finale/Safe Room victory.etc aren't replaced for them.

Just a question: Is there a way to make the music louder with the initial download? Because it's hard to hear when a Tank is approcphing.

Ah - that's good for a quick fix, Makk - but I'll reorder things to spare everyone from that trouble. :)

I got it to work! I copied the .vpk's from the workshop folder and and placed them into the addons folder. It reloaded them on the title screen then crashed the game and steam a couple of times but seemed to work on the third try.

Argh, are they? I had to split some of the folders to fit under the 200mb workshop limit. If that's causing problems, I'll rework the vpks tomorrow morning, might have to go to part four.

No worries - I need to to know what's working and what's ballsed up. Uploading v1.1 - hopefully fixing a few things, probably breaking something else. Might get some time to myself to actually playtest, haha.

i was playing a normal game and only some of the sounds work.

I know it's not the same, this is my own remake. Steam addons don't like certain replacements it seems, but I'm working on fixing that.

I also need to upload a .rar for L4D1 Campaign music - addons don't cover DLC :(

sorry to say this is not the same as the l4d 1 version that was made also not all the sounds are working let me know if it gets fixed please great music

I checked that link and I remember having to do things like rebuilding the audio cache in L4D1 but I've not had to do that with any other sound add on I've downloaded through workshop.

It actually does, although Steam Addons don't like title music at the moment, which is a shame. You can replace the title screen track (sound/ui/gamestartup1/2.mp3) manually with it, however! Make sure to back up originals. A free mp3 shouldn't be too hard to find. Or extract from this vpk. :P
