do you think you could make a mod that resprited and renames apple of sodom to this? its a way cooler design

Kinda like the Apple of Sodom trinket that was added in Repentance. Neat. In some sense, you could say that this (or the idea of this) made it into the base game.

I understand this is an old mod, but just for information, this does not work with the bone hearts added in the final booster pack. Picking up red hearts when all bone hearts are full does not create flies.

Hey, just ran into this item and I cannot pick up/rot red heart while at full health, I am running a ton of mods of course, not D18 though.

If I ever find which mod conflict I'll come back here ;3

found it. it's D18. something about how it handles hearts seems to break it.

actually works fine on it's own. some other mod seems to have broken a bunch of mods that scan entities

Hey, I have a problem. I couldn't get the red hearts to become flies. I tried reloading the run and even reloading the game, but nothing came of it. I was playing Eden with a Tech X run. I even tried to grab them with no heart containers, but still nothing.

The way I had it, it just turned all red hearts into flies upon appearence. This is mainly due to the fact that I didn't think about doing it the way you did which is alot better. And because I didn't want it to kill spirit hearts or black hearts.

Oh cool. when I started my trinket pack this wasn't out yet, glad to see that someone who actually finishes thier mods had the idea for this trinket! My version worked a bit differantly, and honestly this one is probably better than mine.

It's flies because it mimics the mechanic of the keeper who immediatly turns all hearts to flies.

Awesome concept and trinket, but considering itd the heart of the "keeper", maybe it coul be coins instead, idk doesnt really matter

I'm not even playing with mods until I unlocked every single achievement and this one was an instant subscribe for me. The idea is so good. This has to get in a future booster pack and for this I wish you much luck.

Hey, there's a limit for Sacred Hearts. When you have 12 Red Heart containers + 1 Sacred Heart, you cannot pick extra SH.
