4.0 update pls

I have no idea why but the dragons dont show up when picking an apperance when starting a game. I have tried rearranging mod order to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

@RenMax_Fake: Err, no. I planned to dig into that but then didn't. The mod still works, but I won't be touching it anymore. Also, for those people who noticed that there is now a high quality Animated Dragon Portraits mod on the site, go check it out! It is... sadly not compatible with this mod due to us both using the "Draconic" Species type and the game doesn't merge our species, but only offers you one or the other. I could change this but honestly, I forgot how. :p

Love the flavor text! Interested in the mod. Does this add a playable/introduceable species, or does it add events like a new crisis or something?

As far as I could tell, the newest patches didn't touch races. The mod should still work. Until there's another significant update to the game. I'll probably leave it is?

@ Silver Crescent: A mod like that already exists. Search for 'trait' and 'Immortal' on the workshop. I know I played with a mod that added immortality so it has to be there. My leaders were like hundreds of years old in the end and had mad skills.

I've peeked inside other mods on how they add traits specific to a race but it looks messy and like I said, I get brain trauma just updating this thing. If I tried making custom traits, empires and all that, I think my head might explode. :P

Wow, I did not expect this to get update. Thank you for coming back and spending time on an old project Aedrion; relearning how to fix it, then fixing it again. if you wanted to add new portraits to it I personally would love to see it. Thanks again for doing this I really was not expecting this to be looked at again =).

TBH all I want is a trait for the dragon race that is specific to them and makes them immortal or something

I don't know if they changed anything significant but I tested it in a vacuum - hur hur - and it worked fine without other mods.

I started on doing names and even looking into mechanical dragon portraits but I already struggle so much with how to update this that I fear I'll just blow the whole mod up by trying to add something new at this point. At best, I can add more portraits but I don't know if people want that right now.

Anyhow, have fun conquering the galaxy!

This kicks all PDX portraits into the trashcan. I don't know, I really don't like the default portraits, so anything that isn't ugly is taken with great appreciation. Thanks for your effort!

Robotic/Mechanical Dragons?

This isn't updated, but I'd like it to be. I'd rather have a dragon race in the game, and out of all of them, these portraits seem to be the best at what I want.

Wow, been a while since I touched this. I'll be updating it soon and adding a namelist of draconic names for shits, planets, fleets and people.

Also still trying to figure out how to make them into a fallen empire mod with unique species traits. Y'know, to make the flavour text more... actual. >:)

@ The Cake Is A Spy: Of course you may use it. You can credit this mod but you needn't credit me. After all, I didn't make these images, I only made them into a mod. You might have some difficulty finding all the authors though.

@Aedrion Would you mind if I used these in a draconic civic/trait/etc. mod I'm working on? Full credit to you/original authors of course.

@Draco Pendragon That's an issue with any custom species that adds a new category, there are a couple mods that fix it currently.

The Mod works even its "incompatible" but through this i found some issue that the Dragon species doesnt consume Food as upkeep for the Pops :/ Only Minerals.

Big update happened not sure it would affect this much, but it might be worth looking over it and slapping a version 2.2 on it.

A Dragon Namelist to this Mod would be great.

Have there been major updates in 2.1.3? Odds are there haven't been. If so and if the mod doesn't work, I'll check it out when I have time. :)

2.1.3 came out and made it incompatible! Please hurry! We loved the dragons!

Don't worry, there have been no significant updates to how the game handles races, the mod will work without problems. I'll update the mod with the next big patch to make sure it's compatible. Also, if they do end up changing how races work, bear with me because then I'll have to figure out what they changed. :)

Oddly, only like, 10 of the dragon portraits are available. Half of the ones or more listed in the pictures above are not available?

I loaded it up and it said the mod was incompatible with V 2.1.2.

Have there been any significant updates to the game that require this one to be updated? I do plan on giving it a good look-over when the next big update hits. That one might interfere with some files here but currently, it should work just fine.

I wish this mod suported the curent version of the game.

@ Xherdos: I know for a fact they can spawn, they spawned in my game when I ran it and made me all sad because I was playing as them too so it broke that feeling of uniqueness.

@ Vallenshield: I don't have that sort of skill, sorry. I recommend downloading other ship mods and creating an empire of dragons that uses them.

AlphaArts: There's no SCP referrence in here, mate. Just dragons.
