Hey Musashi .. your still moding? Because if you still at it i have a favor to ask. in X2 vanila there was a mod for ammo and vest upgrade called "Advanced Ballistics and Materials" problem one for vanilla, problem two the modder either quit or stop playing ( can't remember witch) but he Removed his mod from the workshop. but i still have the mod here on my computer, so the question being can you upgrade for WOTC using it?

musashi. question? i wish for there to be a mark 2 of this. could it be possible? maybe you need to 200 supplies and 1 walker servos built as well in order to make a mark 2 verision. maybe the mark 2 verision would prove +6 mobility +15 dodge 2 health 2 armor. if you think about it the walker servos look they are made of some kind of armor. so at least adding armor/health to them make senses and is kind of needed in todays xcom with all the increase diffculity mods running around.

Still no luck (from back in January!) on getting some INI fix (or new config setting file) to allow swapping the default "Vest-Slot" for a proper "Utility-Slot" for them?
I just hate losing extra protection for cool speed! ;)

@Musashi: Would it be too much to ask for you to update this mod to act like plating, like in Favid's port of the LW2 plating? I hope that's no too much to ask. Keep up the good work.

Looks great. I am wondering below you say you can't limit this to one if it is in the utility slot?
Well two thoughts there. First an armored version to replace vests (upgrade) and second how do they limit only 1 grenade? Food for thought that might help.

I don’t have the vanilla sdk installed anymore so I can’t make mods for vanilla anymore. Installing both sdks is to heavy on hard disk space.

what does it take from wotc? to my eye we have everything for a jump without it. jedi can jump, sparks can jump.. why does it need wotc?

is there lw2 version?

the problem with utility items is that you could stack multiple servos. I made this mod for a friend so i am not very motivated to include mcm support.
But i guess i can add an ini option on the weekend.

Hi Musashi. This mod came as a geratful surprise, and reminded me from EU/EW times! It suits great with heavy armor, but I am unconfortable with giving up on vest. I know it can be OP, but I balance my gaming by buffing the enemy instead of nerfing my troops... so could you consider making it configurable - MCM perhaps? That way intead of swapping to vest one could straight up add walker servos as an utility item. Please?

@AzureTerra: it's called "Constructive Criticism." I mainly just mention stuff that can improve the mod. usually i'm doing either that, or defending someone ACTUALLY bashing a mod, or someone getting torn out by a modder for asking a fair question that isn't covered in their mod description.

that and those few odd modders who feel the need to swear at possible subbers. there's a few out there.

I wish someone would figure out a way to make a cyborg shop. I remember seeing a mod with Deus Ex's Adam Jensen's arms/legs. This would be a good fit for that.

@Zomboss: but in seriousness, it's due to the WoTC mod tools being miles head of the vanilla ones in terms of what you have access to and what you can do with it. not to mention the expansion itself improves the game, to put it quite bluntly, a metric ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, both in gameplay and graphics.

not really whining. also, it's mostly the fact of the sound effect for a ladder being left in. I'd thing the one for bailing over a railing off the side of a building would probably be more appropriate for vaulting back over one onto the roof in the first place.
