It may be just my feeling, but I notice the steering wheel is less stiff with the latest update.

Great !!! Thank you very much. If you find time, please change insertion from "Formula 1 > F1 1996" to only "F1 1996" . I think then is a better overview. And added menu icons :-) Thank you again :steamthumbsup:

For the engine sounds you have to assign the engine sound (.sfx) to the car in question, then place the .sfx file into the main/car file and package the new engine sound file with your new version of the game.

This is an unbelievable mod, in my opinion. Difficult, hell yes, but one can imagine easily that F1 cars require this level of precision on throttle and braking inputs. Absurdly challenging, but in a fair and predictable way, requiring the level of concentration and consistency that will make you a better driver across the board.

Hi i too am finding the issue when turning corners the tyres and car vibrate violently so much that steering is near impossible , is this a bug as i ve tried lots of changes to see if i can find a fix but no joy!

@SL1DE Hi, i have a bit of a problem i think. The cars violently vibrate at even the slightest of understeer, and get really twitchy. Is it supposed to be like that or is it a bug?

Seems like the Fuel simulation doesn't work. I can do the same lape times with a full tank as with an empty tank. For the ai it works though. This makes longer races with fuel simulation impossible since you will always have a huge advantage when the ai is running a full tank.

Hi @SL1DE the Footwork of Ricardo Rosset and the two Fortis in the mode "real Performance" have the same performace of the Williams or Ferrari. In the next version can you fix that?

The rest of the mod is fantastic.

@SL1DE - whether its phoenix or Argentina no6, id be happy. if you need a tester, let me know. we have just started a 1986 season and plan on doing your season after that - sometime mid next year...

Great mod, PBR and then updated cockpits when available would round it out nicely. This is a season i always wanted to do but was never available anywhere.

@ghostdog_688 Not sure if I will do a trackpack, tracks are a lot of work. But I'm converting my first track now, one I feel like has been missing from rF2 forever. You can probably guess which one it is but I'll keep it a surprise though. ;)

Also do you know how easy it would be to bring the tracks from rf1 over to 2 as well? This would greatly improve the polish on this module - there’s sadly just not enough f1 seasons with complete trackpacks from older seasons :(

@Captain Nudelarm You're right. I overlooked something because I was away from the project for a few months and forgot to change it back. It should be fixed now, AI will now do either a 1 or 2 stop.

Hey, first of all I want to thank you for your awesome mod, I really like it. I am in the middle of a season with the ai but since the new update I ran into a problem. The ai has to stop very often in races, I think it is because they now only use the new tyres. Do you know if there is a solution for my problem?

To SL1DE, great job with the conversion, the mod is great and it's exactly what I've been looking. Now, the cockpits seem to be sub-par with the rest of the car models. If you know how to port a textured 3D model of a cockpit and place it in the game, I'm willing to model them. I've sent you a friend request so we can talk if you are interested.
