The iron cross is just a medal for any soldier just like the medal of honor or the silver star. It does not say anything about of which unit the soldier belongs to. The balkenkreutz is more a unit symbol. And the swastika flag was the right flag for all units regardless which one (SS,Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe etc.) https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wehrmacht

The vanilla badge for the wehrmacht in day of infamy is the iron cross symbol, so i took the existing idea of it and replaced it with the historical right one. I know that the iron cross ek1 and ek2 are just medals for a soldier in general, but i think it is ok to use it instead of the balkenkreuz.

If you guys want so, i can make a balkenkreuz version for the wehrmacht panel, just let me know.

the Iron cross he added in the mod is way more accurate than the vannila one, people in the comments are just incredibly dumb! just serch 1939 Iron cross on fucking google!

Well, they did the German flag, rather than the Wehrmacht EK1. Just like how they did the British and American flag.

And, if you want to be REALLY nitpicky, even the Iron Cross isn't the right symbol for the Wehrmacht;yYou'd use the Balkenkreuz, or the Kriegsfahne.

For all those pseudo-wehraboos.

Lol, iron cross is fine. That icon is from a first class Knight's Cross award which could be given to any one in the military for outstanding valour, Wehrmacht or no. Not to mention their standard uniform included an eagle bearing a swastika (Reichsadler). Oversensitivity to nazism actually hampers historical accuracy, if that's something any of you actually care about :T

He's referring to the US flag, I assume. The flag in your screenshots is the current, 50-state/50-star US flag. The US flag in the 1940s only had 48 stars, as the US only had 48 states.
