Tip for installing engine cover: Move car from lift to garage parking, then your cursor won't be blocked by other parts anymore.

Jesus christ where the hell do i find this car? I have probably been in 50+ junkyards and in 10+ barns and i still couldn't find one. How the hell do i find this thing? Any help would be really sexy

anyone looking to put the engine cover back on, just go to the left door, you have to look really good to the bodyshell in direction of the engine, and with a little bit of searching the prompt will pop up, it's just a really tiny fraction where you can put the cover in place

"For the 1997 season, the decision was made by McLaren to create an F1 GT road car to homologate a race version sharing the same basic form. The racer would be the ultimate evolution of the F1 GTR, with the focus on performance-optimised aerodynamics, increased downforce and significant weight reduction. And so while the F1 GT retained the same wheelbase as the original F1, the new bodywork meant it was a massive 641mm – or 25 inches – longer overall. Three McLaren F1 GT road cars were built, with the original ‘XP GT’ prototype still retained by McLaren, and two more purchased by customers, making it the rarest of all the F1s to wear number plates."

@ravenlore The day after I installed it I went the Scrappy an there were 2 next to each other 1 for 1.5 million & the other 800k I bought the 800k car an sold it a few hours later for 17 million profit, every body part missing was in the scrapyard too.

This seems to be a problem I've seen a couple people have, yeah, the Engine Cover part is now the actual engine cover, and the rear clamshell is what the engine cover use to be. The only fix I know of is unsubbing, going into the garage, saving, and then resubbing to to the car, but sadly you lose the one you had.

There is a problem. There is one missing detail - the "engine compartment cover". It is mounted on the engine, under the trunk lid. I do not know what it's called in the English version of the game, I translated it as it was in the Russian version
I already had a car done for a long time and stood in the parking lot. Now I can not go to the parking lot. Perhaps the game is trying to find this detail and does not find it.
Perhaps this is "Rear Clamshelll", but this detail is also on the list of all the details of the car.

;-; my computer is doing the same thing as my laptop, its downloading spam ads on its own, so now i have ads running in my background, mainly about xfinity, but its uninstalling my car mechanic sim 2018 and deleting all my mods, so someone is either in my computer or it needs to be looked at

The car was just heavily updated, so previously owned versions may be a little wonky, cars that are fully built shouldn't have problems besides parts having colors janky. But cars that were apart when updated sometimes have bugs like that.

hi great mod sir ; i am just on the 3rd build of that model and just experieenced something wierd as one of my cars has no engine ccover ; so its a complete seethrough ; and no cover can be found in parts; i am actually scared to try and remove them from the others in the parking lot.

junkyard buy is around 2 milli restore it its 16 milli restore takes around 20 30 mins for veterans
