This one doesn't include Roboto Font Graphic Fix. I keep them separate, because that one is much more likely to break when Paradox updates the interface.
If you experience problems after a game update, try disabling Roboto Font Graphic Fix first.
This one is pretty safe and should continue to work until I can update the other.

Hi Ash, I have uploaded it as a separate mod. The name is 'Roboto Font UI + MAP'. You will need to unsubscribe or deactivate this one in the launcher though and activate the other one.

Answering myself : I found I made a backup of the font folder of the mod after I enlarged them for 3440x1440. I just replaced the folder and it works fine. Sorry for the previous msg.

@Hash, I dont have Leviathan (1.31) but the mod updated itself and now half the texts are unreadable (looks like arabic to me but I think it's just buggy). I tried deactivated the mod, texts are fine (but not roboto ofc), so it comes from here. Is there a way to get back to the previous version of your mod? PS : I dont plan on getting 1.31 before comments say it has less bugs/exploits.

Hi, I absolutely LOVE the mod, but noticed that the font doesn't fit the UI correctly in the economy tab where it says "Balance" and in the Stability & Expansion tab where it says "States and Territories", "Rebels and Possible Rebels", and "Governing Capacity". It appears that reducing the font size in these areas may fix the issue. Here's a link to screenshots, please let me know if there's any way I can help fix this?

Unfortunately, no. It's a limitation of the game engine. It uses raster fonts, that's why they look blurry when scaled up.

The game is very difficult for me to play with the stock font, even with UI scaling turned up. Buit with this mod I can actually play comfortably with the UI scaling turned off. Thank you so much for this.

Hi Lucas, I have fixed it for 1.30. Your issue seems like there is still an old version remaining, even though you have uninstalled it.
Please, try to do the following steps:
- unsubscribe from the mod
- run the launcher to confirm it is gone
- check the following locations and delete the mod if you find it there:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\236850\1203455926
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Europa Universalis IV\mod
My Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\mod
- then re-install and it should work

Hey I'm a big user of your mod, a must for me, and I have the same issue, crashing right after selecting "single player" and in fact I get a notification in the launcher that says the mod needs 1.28 to run. You0ve said you fixed it for 1.30 what's happening here? I've even tried to unsubscribe and re-download.

I've done some tests and it looks like the actual font used for tooltips (and some other things like buttons) is vic_18 not ToolTip_Font.
I think the reason it worked when I first did it was because I happened to change them both and then I just assumed that ToolTip_Font was for tooltips.

I changed the mod name in the Steam EU4 mod folder to "test", and it showed up as "test" in the launcher.

There is no trace of the mod in my Documents/EU4/Mod folder, and I'm unsubscribed to it on Steam.

The mod in my Steam EU4 mod folder has been edited to the following...

#path = "gfx/fonts/garamond_16"
path = "gfx/fonts/Roboto_22" <<(also tried it with Roboto_18)

...and it still doesn't work.

Yes, it works for me. This is how I've done the development and testing.
I can't think what you might be doing wrong.
Maybe you could try to change the name of the mod then check in the launcher if it's the correct one that is enabled.

The game has 2 different locations for mods.
One is in My Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\mod. This is where the mods downloaded from the workshop are.
The other location is where the game is installed, in Steam\SteamApps\common\Europa Universalis IV\mod. This is where you put the mods you are working on.

You need to take the archive + the .mod file from the first location and unzip it in the second location and replace the following line in the .mod file:
archive="mod/RobotoFont.zip"
with
path="mod/RobotoFont"

After this, you must unsubscribe from the workshop mod to prevent any conflicts and you can edit the files without having to zip them again.

I extracted "core.gfx" and changed it to Roboto_18 (and then Roboto_22), then replaced the original file in the zip, but the tooltip doesn't change...

Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. :\

You would need to unpack the zip from the workshop in your mod folder then edit core.gfx and look for a section like this:

and change it to something like Roboto_18
