@BGR: yes, that's correct. You may want to use this mod in conjunction with Ship Power Increase x10 mod for ships that have both a higher top speed and faster acceleration.

In my observations the game uses the top speed of a vehicle as an absolute max limit. The actual speed of a vehicle is dependent on its horse power and weight. So increasing the speed by 100% only raises the limit.

I think many people will appriciate this! Myself I'm looking for how to tinker with the train stats to get better acceleration so they can reach their top speed. Any tips where for me to look to make it possible?
