Well, no, never figured out how to make that kind of stuff dependent on .ini options. I’ll look into it in the future. You may be able to remove them by using ARK’s Game.ini options though

Ok. Thanks. I'm guessing it doesn't as I have never seen one of their eggs. I've tried reversing the order of the mods (as discussed below) also.

That depends on whether that mapuses the same nest spawn point names

So if wyverns are spawning on Valguero due to shared spawners, would those wyverns have nests and eggs? I haven't seen any yet.

Probably because Valguero is using the same spawners as TheIsland to some extent (same directory path/name etc)... A Valguero SF companion mod is on the todo list and will be published sometime soon...

This addon seems to enable Griffins on Valguero. It also makes Wyverns spawn in the trench in the center of the map.

Not sure, depends on spawner name. But you can opt to not install it on the extinction server and only have it on the TheIsland server. Shouldn't be a problem because this companion mod only adds exotic Flyers to the TheIsland map spawners and nest points for the Wyverns and Rockdrakes

if i have this installed on an extinction server due to a cluster with the island it shouldent have any effect on the extinction serve right

It may be the load order, I noticed that it does matter. So switch them around in yours and see if that helps (so NSF and then TI companion or TI companion and then NSF)

I am not seeing any wyvern nests and I spent an in game day around carno island. How long does it take for nests to spawn? And is there a way to tame a adult wyvern with this mod or do we need to breed from eggs?

As in, a long while

They take a while to spawn...

Not sure if I'm blind or there are no nests on dead island.

@Alonya1HP Thank you for your report on this issue. I will look into it. I may need to adjust the spawn rates somewhat. As for the nests: they do spawn in my own tests, but it may take a really long time...

@Lord_Ainsley When you install the Naj's Speedy Flyers mod and the TheIsland SF Extension mod it should all just work on its own accord, no need to set any .ini settings, although you can adjust a lot of settings for the Speedy Flyers through GameUserSettings.ini if you want...

sorry im a newbie to ark just got it but do i have to put anything in the .ini to make them spawn in the map or do they just without needing to mess with the .ini cause i haven't found any griffins

Had this mod on my island server for 50 vanilla ingame days (about 2-3 real life days) and there haven't been a singel wyvern nest on carno/death island also no ice wyvern spawned yet. Wyverns do spawn on carno/death island and rock drakes + nest are spawning in the ice cave. I just dont understand why they will not spawn nest for normal wyverns or ice wyverns :(

How do I increase ice wyvern spawns and not the other wyverns I have only seen one ice wyvern since I added this mod but the other wyverns spawn in plenty.

I found out that they take some time to spawn and remember tgat they only spawn on unstasis event for nearby wyverns (as with their vanilla counterparts)

Carnivore Island for the regular wyverns, on the edges of the center plateau; Snow biome for the Ice Wyverns (perched up on the mountains flanks); Spread throughout the Ice Cave for the RockDrakes...

You mentioned the nests are supposedly now spawning at the respective habitats of the wyverns and drakes yet i've found no nests yet. Are there particular positions you've made these nests at?

As well as updating the mod to a TheIsland Extension so the Drake and Wyvern nests will now spawn in their respective habitats,there's also a craftables companion mod available which allows you to craft rock drake saddle, by making available the red and blue gems for crafting in the vanilla or S+ fabricator. It also allows for the nameless venom, Sulfur and the Wyvern Milk to be crafted in the vanilla or S+ Mortar and Pestle so that the raising of babies and sleeping tames of RockDrakes, Phoenixes and Wyverns is now feasible if you don't have access to said resources, without needing a different mod for that. If you missed the memo on the Glider Suit, it too is now available from the main mod, craftable on each map in the vanilla or S+ Smithy!

Nope, you need the .ini setting set to true. Default behaviour is as much vanilla as possible 😄

Ehmm, it should work, but I had to change out the inventoryBP’s to make it work, I recently had to change some logic so I may have made a mistake there, I will check it out tomorrow...

btw, are wyverns knock out tames ? because my friend knocked one out and it said "this creature can only be tamed while awake" we tried using wyvern milk and we tried to use argentavis kibble but it kept saying the same... you also can feed them narcotics while asleep... are we doing something wrong ?

The Imprint food on the Griffins is Raw Mutton, for the Phoenix it has been set to sulfur and for the RockDrake it is the Nameless venom. A SpeedyFlyers Resource Companion mod is in the make that will allow for crafting these resources on the maps where they would normally not be available. The most optimal taming food for the RockDrakes is the Nameless Venom, for the Wyverns it is the Wyvern Milk or the Argentavis kibble and for the Griffins it is the Raw Mutton or the Allosaurus kibble!

Hmm, I don't seem to have that setting set at all, so it should still be the default. And yeah, I've searched all over the snowy area multiple times and I've yet to even see a single Ice Wyvern. I've not seen a Phoenix either, but I assume those are much rarer :P

Heya @Candi: Not sure about that. It seems that the TotalDinoCount .ini setting influences their spawning a lot, so make sure you have that set to 1.0 or above... Now that the main mod is reaching it’s full potential I will be focusing on redoing the companion mods, to include nest spawn locations among other things... I will be looking into the Ice Wyvern spawning as welland keep you all posted...

Yep, should be able to. The tags are the same as vanilla...
