Updated version: Avenger Mk3

Need to fix forbidden blocks. Suggestion, in Creative Mode, spawn Avenger, type command " di ", get ship ID, then in command prompt write " replaceblocks <entityid> HullFull HullSmallBlocks ".

remember this ship being the best out there by far.. im thinking of getting back into the game..

I have a modified working version of this. It has lost it's great looks as i use armored skirts front but it's much easier to repair after a hard fight. It is still my main SV. but it is of no match anymore against a Zirax destroyer.

While I loved this, the recent updates have killed its hover and maneuverability. I am trying to update mine, but the larger thruster size requirements ruin the lines and shape of the ship. I loved the roleplay aspect of this ship. It fit on my favorite capital ships with ease.

I thank the creator for the many hours of play I had with it.

Flies like a sea gull. Soars nice but barely can get off the ground. Very little side to side agility.

I am considering releasing a blueprint based on this ship hull design. Modified front area entirely for tough engagements with armored front along with armor skirts as the complex glass casing is the main weakness in the MK2 version along with the pilot getting stuck if exiting pilot seat while in external view. Repairing windows while in combat is hard. Even harder if you get stuck. Would releasing a own version of this be ok to the author?

This craft now as MK2 version is still my all-round SV.

Whoops. I didn't notice you had replied. I just popped out some glass and was able to put in an enclosed cockpit which fit perfectly and makes it easier to get in and out anyway. I have used it a lot though and like it. I plan to add some more upwards thrust as I had difficulty getting off a high gravity planet.

It's not airtight for me I think. I almost froze to death in space.

if you get stuck in the cockpit, go first person, get back on the seat then get back off again, will let you out normally. pain in the ass yea but it will save screwing up the ship till the bug gets fixed. Only real suggestion is less RCS more Fuel :D

Excellent little ship, too bad I get stuck inside the cockpit.

@Comrade it does work in alpha 9.4 but suffers from the cockpit bug that people have described. Nice craft though.

Hopefully the cockpit bug will get worked out. Very nice ship otherwise.

Me too! its a game bug thta the devs need to woork out...

I keep getting stuck trying to get out of the cockpit. I have to remove a ceiling block and its no longer airtight.

does it works in alpha 9?

still my best ship even the older version is kind of parked for now. this is a tad bigger it feels but over all. i am enjoying the heel out of it !! great job !!

still not airtight gaps around thrusters and canopy would love to use this ship but not being airtight prevents that

as you can see some of the changes i have done didnt take any inside pic. but now to sub to this and get cracking on the new build !! GJ

man i fix the original while ago for the no O2. but i all so added a bunch of stuff as well. more everything and redid the outer look as well. man this has been my most fav since i saw early this yr? now i will have to do this and check it out and add my touches to it to boot.
