So I just tested it out of curiosity and this mod works well enough with this cvar: asw_new_drone 0. Sadly, this means that the new animations in this addon don't play and they just kind of poof into existence but it does stop the crashing and invisibility from what I've gathered so far.

Drones are more deadly when they're unpredictable though, would make Alien Swarm that much more interesting

For me, I like the old drones, you better expect their future movement. These bugs are sometimes unpredictable. I saw them in other mods like chicken servers.

But I would like to see Mortal suggestions. This may be interesting.

For a reason I'm experiencing invisible drones and game crashing for this cause, hope it get fixed soon, since It's looks really good

All previous problems (damage bug, not burning) have all been restored thanks to my modification skills. All I need to do is create a Ranger model + animations.
