After Shadow Queen became vulnerable I did a Rally Wink/Power Lift Combo then just kept powerbouncing to victory, stopping to let a partner use items on mario, or just have mario sweet treat as needed

Pro tip, get shines and upgrade partners. Koops can keep mario alive almost indefinitly while still allowing attacks. Bombery and Vivian also have high damage when upgraded.

I could probably easily do it if it weren't for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ten minutes of cutscenes every time

My game was 100% complete aside from that fight AND I was on an emulator and still had trouble. My advice is jumpman and nothing but jumpman.

Here's a tip from a pro to you:

Nah, but seriously, go through the Pit of 100 Trials first, then stock up on healing items and the best FP-restoring items you can grab plenty of.
