Is the old resources(fiber,wood,thatch)still useable(to use with other mods) if you use admin commands to spawn old resources?
or does this mod just change the resources name?

@Aimee you need the EXTENSION mod to be at the top of your mods list not the map.

No,
you dont need merfolk. You need Alluvion Map Extension as first load to play the Alluvion map.

(first load order) means you must load this mod first then add each other mod after it where you add/remove the mods in game.then it should (in theory) work.i havent tried this mod but i can see by the comments that you guys havent had much experience with master mods and slave mods.a master mod pretty much takes over a game and can possibly (depending on the mod) change the entire game. e.g. primitive +, extinction core,and others of this type are master mods.slave mods are things like S+ ,or egg and poop collector.i hope this helps for you guys and any others that have that question.

first load order?

You need to install this and run it as the first mod in the list. If you already tried to run without this mod, you might need to erase your data from the map and start again. (Shouldn't be anything lost if you just started anyway)
This is due to the old save data using the unmodified player pawn. When you start a new save with this mod in the list, it will load in the character with the modified pawn, which allows breathing underwater.
Dying should also trigger a reset of the player pawn, but it is not 100% predictable.
