this is perfect because i have a multi game universe character who's companion is always named lydia, but in this characters origin game(FATE), lydia was a cat. now i can bring my character to skyrim with this mod.

@Pony Head Color I haven't seen crashes with mods that alter characters and/or their behaviours so far. But its always safer to use LOOT to check compability when using dozens if not hundreds of mods.

id like to hear if there have been any issues with crashes. Plus nice job on screenshots! I have not seen many mods on here that have screen shots

we've got also Kharjo caravan defender who is sometime next to riften doors with caravan, but Lydia is also great

@Chewie'smate mod uses original audiopack which does have its low moments like carrying burdens one, but it happens less with unofficial patch(es).
Background story is up for player to decide how things have become to what they are.

Ha ha, funny ! just remembered Khajiit not allowed in cities, Jarl disobeying own rules, I guess since she is Housecarl, given by Jarl, he can give whomever he choose, like having his is different.
Have you created her a background ? or is that for us ?

@Hades Tatsu No worries she is immortal (essential) allowing you wonder around more freely without risk of her dying.

I just have one question for the Dev, is there a way to make Khajiit Lydia invulnerable/immortal? Would love to take her questing now that she has a very nice upgrade, but would hate to see this kind of hard work laid to waste if she is killed off.

You should try Nexus, there's TONS of Khajiit and argonian followers that can be married on there :P

malmonkey03 sounds like game isn't loading mod properly. One way trying fix this is to disable mod from Data files list on orignal launcher or mod laucnhers list, then launch game and load last save, then quit game wihtou saving and re-enable mod again.

Second trick is to move esp/bsa files to another folder and add back or just delete and re download, and then there is verifying game cache but if you have made esm master cleaning with tesedit you have to do it again since veryfying game cache restores old esm versions.

so everything was going fine and then i walked in my house you know check on my family and lydias face was human and body was khajiit o_o how do i fix this?

Anonemous1 Thats actually problem caused by game engine and how it works, meaning that you should have clean save before adding mod(s) so you can return to it if you don't want to keep mod.

If I wanted to Change Lydia back to human well She dose Not Properly return to her Nomal Form and still has a Kajiit head What should I do?

I have the same problem Wendy does. I've found all I have to do is disable the mod, go into the game, save, exit, then re-enable it. It would be nice if you could find some way to work around this, but for now, I don't mind the method I've found.

If Lydia was a Khajiit, I would have liked her, personally.

Aurana that sound like bad bug in main game itself, tho I haven't seen such my self happening. But here is something that sould be done anyhow.

First go to steam libary right click skyrim, choose properties on drop list then click local files tab, there click Verify Integrity of game cache so steam checks game files and downloads missing files.

Second is to all who use mods should use TES5Edit to clean master files to fix problems left there what may cause issues if mod uses one of broken edits in game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fw3g_N1jcZQ

After cleaning is done, download skyrim unofficial update or all of those updates if you have required DLC's from skyrim nexus mods, (requires account) use Nexus Mod Manager to download unofficials & read chat/post for right load order.

dunno whether its a bug or not but khajiit lydia's jaw no longer moves when she speaks :<

Lord Velken i'm going to test that for next npc mod, by going trought all 536 female & 893 male sentences which may take some time.

You know one trick thats been done in the past for race changes and voices is to take words from various khajiit around skyrim and stitch them together to form sentences and has worked out for a few though it may be a bit more work then you're willing to go for.

Try set it before if you have there some other mod what might be changing lydia's settings to something else

before or after?

Kar the Khajiit if you have another mod what makes changes to lydia before this on your load order, changing places of mods on loading list should fix issue

Creshtestdummy - that sounds some kind bug with game language systems, this is caused by steam language settings, right click Skyrim: 1. choose properties, 2. open language tab, 3. change language to english. Some times verify integrity of game cache is needed to fix possible broken game stuff too.
