Put the ball onto the socket near the end of the puzzle in the white hallway exit area. That'll will get you one of the secrets.

The secrets change only in substance, not so much in location. Part 4 does add an additional 3 secrets (as "Bonus Points").

Benx, the fixed SHOULD work. I haven't been able to make them fail in my tests. On the last level a FIZZLER appears over the switch plate whenever the Vortex is turned-on. I'll check the video soon! Thanks!

Thanks. I think I got it the way you wanted. I'll go back and add it to the first three levels. I agree it is a good help for the player to see the ramp flip to 45 degrees when they press the button.

Ah, I am reading about the point_view control on Steam. Yes, that is pretty cool! I'll see if I can add it. Let me experiment a tad with it.

Well, I just learned how to do a point_camera with an associated monitor. I added it to Part 4 (which is compiling as we speak as an up-date). The camera is watching the top scaffold where the cube switch plate is located; this will show when the shield (fizzler) is on or off. It is pretty cool.

Won't the point_viewcontrol need a monitor? Not sure what this will do. I will say that the faith plate and associated button does have signs. I could do a camera, but I can only have one active at a time (if I understand the limits correctly).

Yes, for example for the button that activates the faith-plate
Use the entity point_viewcontrol for that with correct flags, then Enable/disable inputs

Give me an example where you'd like this. I just now think I might know how to do a point-camera and video screen (if that is what you mean).

I would suggest to make a small anim with camera entity in some cases to show what the activator does, i felt lost sometimes !

Kwinten, yes, painting the ball ANY color will turn-on the vent (weather tower); as this would be the only normal way to get the ball to rise up in the tower shaft when turned-off; to paint it with bounce (blue). I provided a HINT for this concept.

Ya, I played an old custom map a long time ago with this dual goo gel thing for fast running to the bounce. I was so proud of myself after I figured it out a day later, lol. Woops, JP, yes I forgot to copy a command into the logic_auto to set the starting texture_toggle for the score board. It is fixed now. I added a hint button for the light brigde solution for those who get stuck. The visual sign picture (language isn't needed to understand it) is found in the room where the cube dispenser is located. I agree, I will add a screen text comment which will appear when gaining secrets. Thanks for everyones' HELP. All the comments have improved Part 3 and the Grand Finale so that they both play smoothly (I hope). I'll be up-loading the up-dated Part 2 and the New Part 3 (Wet Entry series continuation) later this evening.

Also with knowing the trick it is hard to paint the lightbridge in the right way. I tried it earlier, but it did not work.

ok, I was trying blue paint on the light bridge, and also red paint; but I didn't try to combine both!
I'll do it next time..

For the score board, it was already showing "3/3 secrets" at the beginning of the level; maybe check the logic.

I think you should make something happen in case of scoring a secret.

JP, see the game slide screen shots and examine the light bridge with gel on it. That is the main solution to the level.

If you broke the radio, then when you reach the score board at the end, then you will have 1 of 3 points for breaking it (blowing it up, to be more accuate). to reach the top platform where the Cube Exit Switch is located you must paint the light bridge blue near the end part, including the silver wall plate, then paint the rest of the light bridge with speed gel; then run on it toward the blue bounce; it will bounce you to the top (run a shorter distance if you bounce too high). Try it. It is pretty cool.

Well I didn't find the solution to reach the top platform with the cube..
I broke the radio but nothing happens (?)
but I took some cool pictures of your world :-)
It makes me think of Myst wich I'm an absolute fan... Souvenirs, souvenirs.. lol

Thanks for the heads up, JP. I totally forgot about that little corner!! The trigger for death-by-cat must not be reaching there. I'll fix that. Hint: try breaking the radio (1 of 3 secrets). It is okay to use the vortex to explore near the top cube exit switch plate, as the cube is what keeps the vortex turned-on (at the plate in the square glass tube).

I can still reach the top using the oblique vortex, (but then I got no cube).

I've been stuck in the little far corner, outside the brick wall (I know I'm not supposed to go there, but looking for secret areas...)

Benx, yes, the trick is to paint the ball with bounce and send it up the weather tower shaft. Painting it also turns on the weather tower. I may need to give a hint about that aspect or turn it on differently. The laser cube box switch failure (to turn off the vortex) was just a coincidence of unintended bad timing for its programming. I will look to change that. I will do a video at some point for solving the level as intended. You took some unitended short cuts; and hard ways. There is a good Easter Egg you keep missing at the end (to destroy the turrets).

Great map! It is fun!
But there are some things that have cost me understand. For example, the rain does not turn on if the ball is not painted.There is one thing that I do not understand. In my video, I put the box on the site, but if I make it recreate, the tractor beam disappears. Finally, if I take the box, that doesn't happen. Why?
