This is another fantastic steam Locomotive for the UK Maps.
I have found the UK map of my dreams "Trans Pennine" I have set all the tracks while using the "No Costs" mod. The major tunnels have been located as near as possible to the correct locations.
I play it using the "4x slower" mod and add the tunnels as I reach the correct year of completion.
It is giving me hours of enjoyable playtime.
I upgrade the train consists and adjust tracks to suit the increased traffic.
What a heap of fun.

Are there any plans for LMS liveried versions? Same colour different lettering.

Killakanz, you have made some great mods, do you plan to make anymore? And please can you increase the top speed of the 4f and if possible make a 43924 version :)

Can you make this an Academy version?

@[BA] Scar, I'm not going to name names... It being on someone's to-do list is not a confirmation that it is being made or that it actually will be made. Just that a modder who has released previous mods to the workshop wants to make it.
As it's not officially announced I can't say more.

@[BA] Scar, I happen to know the Stirling is on someone's to-do list. I can't say anymore than that right now.

@killakranz is there any possiblity for some GNR/LNER Locomotives ? Im only going to suggest for the GNR here the GNR Stirling (im not requesting anything aside from information on possible new models)

The Mk2s are actually the project I'm working on right now. They will be the next release. Can't give an ETA though, it's still early days

It's a patch for the Deltic released for Train Fever, follow the install instructions. Because I didn't make the original mod I can't put it on the workshop.

@Flyingscotsman4472, I believe his wagons are based upon those from the Great Western Railway, not those from the London, Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS) or from British Railways (BR).

You will be making more Brit steam, yes? There are other mods for Brit steam, but they don't support the aging of the vehicle... So was hoping you'd be making some of the same engines...

I have been reading what kallaknz has said on his thread on the transport fever forums, regarding requests and I am in total agreement with him. Most modders do this as a hobby and are entitled to model whatever suits them and then share their work with the rest of the community. They don't have to share what they create, they do it, because they want to, so that those of us who cannot make 3D models, can enjoy whats been created.
It takes weeks or even many months of work, to create just one model for this game and we have to be thankful that the modders are giving up their free time to help make this fantastic game more enjoyable. So please just be thankful that there are people like killakanze, who are willing to make new content for TpF and just appreciate what ever THEY want to make and stop requesting what you would like to see. There are many British locos that I would like to see, but I am just content with whatever comes up.

Hi All,
As I helped to save this loco from the cutters torch back in the 1970s and helped in its preservation, I thought I would do a search, to find out where she is now. It seems she is now owned by a group of enthusiasts and funds for its upkeep is obtained by hiring the loco out for long term lease to various preserved railways throughout the UK. Presently, she is kept at the West Somerset Railway (Minehead) and is on a tewnty five year lease, having already spent the last ten years operationg on the WSR. Hi Great to have some British locos on here. I found a few GWR but none for the other big four companies so good to see an LMS Loco.
It would be great to see these if you can do them ?
LMS : Royal Scot , Princess Elizabeth , Coronation Scot
LNER : We have Mallard and the Flying Scotsman but would be great to see more.
SR : Golden Arrow , Nelson and any others.
I am playing a British map and trying to recreate the metworks of the old Big Four so would be great to have authentic locos for them.

Also yes, this 4F has a complete set of custom sound effects: Whistle, chuffs, fast and idling. All taken from recordings of a real 4F.

@Londonmidlandzz This jinty works. It'll give you a warning in the mod selection screen because it was made for Train Fever but ignore the warning, it works out of the box. Just unzip it directly into the mods folder:

You are most welcome geoffersh, and thank you for helping to bring the real one back from the brink. It was a pleasure recreating it for TpF.

I played a part in rescuing this 4F from Barry Scrapyard back in the 1970s when it was purchased by the North Staffs Railway Preservation Society, later to become The Churnet Valley Railway. I worked on this loco, quite a lot, helping to strip it down, so that work could start on it's renovation.
It's took a while to get it back in steam again, but it has travelled all over the UK and performed on most of the Heritage Lines throughout Btittain. Not sure where she is stabled at present, but is certainly a brilliant example of a Fowler Locomotive, well worthy of preservation. Glad to see it represented in Transport Fever. Thank you for sharing it with us. and thank you for the time and effort you put in for others to enjoy your work.
