Solid colors do not look good in TF2's artstyle at all
FUCKING GENIUS
Example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jo_Baer#/media/File:Korean.jpg
The focus isn't the white/black. If this were the case, there'd be no reason to consider it art. A blank square has no focal point, and there's nothing to convey meaning. It won't be taken seriously.
It's not the case. The blankness of the canvas leads the eye to look for something missing, and it's found in the top border, with a pattern that shows a purpose to the piece, and thereby encourages analysis.
That's minimalism. This is simply two colors combined with no effort to provide a focal point.
Like your lackluster attempt at a design, the difference is black and white.
I'm sorry, but these just aren't great, and if people are saying they don't work for the impression you're trying to go for, then you really need to move on and try again.
Unless this is all an elaborate joke and you're taking the piss out of this warpaint craze, because I'm refusing to believe this was made unironically.
it looks like it belongs as a sample texture
this is litteraly just two colors matched into one, no pattern, no anything
maybe you could add like a design?
