I can see where you're coming from with that. I was using a skin base that didn't scale the texture down by much, so it definitely could've been represented better in the previews if I used a different skin as a base. Thanks for the comment!

I would love it if the pattern were to be like 30% smaller.

Huh, so I guess some skins will be worth more than others, regardless of quality, due to asthetic reasons, like a image appearing in just the right spot...

Oh, yeah the pattern gets rotated as part of the paint application. I just happened to get a pattern where the circuit didn't rotate much when I took the example shots. The skins are meant to rotate anyway since that's part of the skin randomization (in fact, I rotated them for the SFM shots), so no worries there!

Being able to rotate the pattern

I guess that depends on what you mean. The skins are already set up to seamlessly match in all directions, but unfortunately the way TF2 set up war paints prevents perfectly seamless textures. The best you can really do is make the textures able to be tiled properly, so when TF2 does its rotations and scaling to the textures, there's no other seams.

Unless you mean something else when you say making the skin match up horizontally?

have you thought about rotating the skin so it matches up horizontally?

Awesome sleek design that's really eyecatching and yet not overbearing like mosts skins. Great job!
