do you have an option to remove the plot and time ui cause that is overlapping another mod of mine i don't know?

The .XComMod file of this mod has in the description field all the steam markup. There are probably special characters that break the syntax, hence the last RequiresXPACK=true is ignored and therefore the launcher think it doesn't work for WotC.

@Crackity Use the Alternative Mod Launcher, the default one is very barebones.

The mod launcher has decided this is for the base game and not WotC, and now doesn't want to run it.

I apologize if this is not the place to post requests, but hear me out: can I get a mod, that will force our beloved central troll to spill the mission objectives BEFORE our soldiers are on their way there?
You know, if I was a commander and got just a "protect the device" description, I´d get hard hitters with low mobility. then I´d probly throw bradford out of closed avenger windows, when he will let me know that the mission is actually about: rush to the gate, that constantly spawns aliens and take out its battery.
I need my right hand man to give me the details about the mission, during the PREP. the same ones that I get when I will be dropped out of firebrand. loading the save is too long for me to start the mission, THEN hear what I am supposed to do, THEN seeing the map and THEN load the previous save to select suitable soldiers (and then load the mission again). mainly with new modded classes with various expertises, such info is crucial.

Does displaying terrain disrupt game balance?
Not that I've noticed. Maybe bring fewer snipers on underground missions? Helps you pick the right camouflage for your troopers though.

it's more that this mod doesn't have a "default" icon for enemy groups it doesn't recognise.. you will find this issue increases with the more mod-added enemies you add ...

in which case it might be worthwhile to go to the MCM menu and turn off the icons, and just have the list of names

The spark enemies from the mod a better advent say "enemy group not found FERAL_MECH" when viewing the enemy count provided by the shadow chamber when prepping for a mission, I'm assuming due to the fact feral mechs from the shens last gift dlc don't have an icon

I have the same issue with @SquarelyCircle. I think it’s the lwotc infiltration info that overlaps.

Nothing I do in the mod menu seems to have an effect (except that when I eneble debug mode the Terrain info disappears completely).

Please help.

For LWOTC, the Advent Drones have no icon and will show up as an error. However, you can edit the XComUIShowEnemies_ConfigStructs.ini file in the config, under the line ";Specific lines for other mods that add enemies group", use a vanilla icon for the drone.

In my case, I used the turret icon, so it should read +EnemyGroupNameIconStrings=(Name ="AdventDrone", Icon ="UILibrary_ShowEnemiesonMissionPlanning.Tug_AdventTURs")

I'm messing with settings and .ini values, and I can't figure out how to get the text to move. It's overlapping with another panel. I've tried setting the iEnemiesListPosX = -800 in the .ini file. I've tried changing the topleft vs. topright option in MCM. I don't really know what I'm doing. Anybody have a suggestion?

This awesome mod did not work for me until i started using a separate mod/game launcher (instead of the one provided by the game).
The one i am using is the Alternative Mod Launcher (AML) from Github (latest beta from september of 2021) though perhaps others exist.

This is great! It would be helpful if there was a way to see Supplies, Alloys and Elerium down the bottom before clicking on Build Items. Seeing Intel and the cost of Boosting Infiltration on the right while planning mission loadout would help also.

This mod is perfectly fine to run alongside OSSAAT. There is no conflict, no bugs and zero crashing...

There is no mission generated in the OSSAAT so this mod simply has nothing to display. OSSAAT is a useful tool for using the squad select screen to organise the gear and equipment of your troops.

I'm struggling to understand why you cannot use these together...

This mod is not compatible with Open Squad Select At Any Time. Which makes sense b/c in that screen there is no mission defined. I use this all the time so sadly cannot use your mod.

Upd. This error occurs only with the "Show Enemies List Without Shadow Chamber" setting enabled. And it does not depend on other mods and on the fact that I edited the configuration files.

I didn't catch this bug before because I never turned on this setting (I turned it on just now for testing mods).

It looks like this is a problem of this mod that needs to be fixed.

The mod caused a very strange error. I've been using it for a hundred years and there have never been any problems. But now I'm assembling enemies from different mods (Aba, Bio-division, etc.). I'm replacing some vanilla enemies. In general, I edit the spawn lists in the XComEncounterlists.ini files (both in the game file and in the mods files).

Now about the problem: on missions with the Lost Setrip, Losts will not spawn at all. I spent half a day trying to figure out that it was because of this mod - it wasn't obvious at all.

Now it remains to understand how this is even possible and how to solve this problem? Please help me figure it out.

Instead of showing a messy text string when a mod enemy is not recognized would it be possible to show some default icon instead? A question mark maybe or some generic symbol.

Not a chance from me.. sorry.
The actual X-Com2 files structure is done in a way that makes it very hard to diagnose almost anything with certainty which has been like that for years.
Some mods are easily "repaired" when their runtime footprint is minimal. BUT -- this one in particular has high impact(s) already embedded in its "Logic".

I wish i could help and maybe only Sebkulu would be able to do so.

Players should understand that a lot of factors can ruin interaction between two or more mods when installed together; Load Order, conflicting components, simultaneous access to hybrid solutions (looking at you, HighLander!), complex methods, etc.

Solving **ANY** problems takes a lot of precise details about someone's setup.

Definitely a very helpful mod. Getting tired of waiting to see if the Chosen shows up on a mission and like the forewarning, though I'm going to keep the requirement that the Shadow Chamber be built before I allow that sort of warning.

No, it'll be fine. A launcher starts the game, once the game's running it doesn't have any effect.

Hey, I'm having problems with this mod not showing up on the mod menu and therefore not showing up at all in the game when the Shadow Chamber is built. I'm at a loss, I verified the integrity of the game cache, resubscribed to this mod and others, but so far, nothing's changed. I love this mod, but I just... don't know what's going on here.

That would be "somewhat easy" to integrate as an alternate HUD option along with (GFX/Tagging) custom assets. Trouble is.. i'm not sure **IF** @sebkulu could try returning to active coding tasks (although it should require minimal sub-components with minor hooks & one function).
As for Enemy Icons.. ideally, some sort of coloring schema has to be used in those smallish TXT areas while the regular Target shapes could remain as is but calibrated to our standard sizing (48 or 64) limits.

We'll have to see & think about the possibility. ::CrossFingers::
