How do I change the power armor to vanilla textures?

Not a huge fan of the current textures myself. Though love the mod so I just deal with it for now. I actually replaced them back with the vanilla textures for now.

I'm not really s fan of the purple. Most of the time my colonists just look like mashed grapes. Maybe have an option to turn off the custom texture? Or at least some different colors to choose from. Other wise, the mode works as advertised.

So to have set diffrent colors it would require diffrent armors/sets. One for each color. The only way to have multiple colors for the same set is to have the games random colors overlayed. I'm game for makeing a few diffrent sets tho, I was thinking a few tiers of protection each with a diffrent color/pattern using the same base texture.

Different colors for full suits(not the vinilla random rainbow warriors). A retexture basically.

@black6blue Do you want the power armor to not be colored? Do you want vinilla colors? Do you want the current textures to be diffrent colors? Im not exactly clear what you need.

If you like this mod you should look into my T51 mod for power armor. Its enhanced power armor that adds fallout protection and has its own textures.

Hey would you consider creating another mod that changes all the textures to different collors? or maybe putting it in the mod settings

@Mewo Mix that info wasn't exactly what I needed, but it did give me and idea, which seems to work just fine.

I found an a17 patch for it that seemed to have worked. No idea what to change in it to make B18 applicable. https://github.com/skyarkhangel/Hardcore-SK/issues/395

Sadly I had no luck makeing it work. I asked Rah of Rah's Bionics, but I think it would be too time consuming for him to tacle it. Perhapse if a few more people asked.

@Joseph be sure to post here if you do make a compatibility patch, I just got to the point where i can make advanced bionics and realized that I can't use gloves or boots with them :/

A mod that adds feet and hands to all bionic types would be amazing. That vanilla issue conflicts with quite a few mods.

Ok. Yea I would prefer that the maker of EPOE actually adds feet and hands to the bionics. But if that never happens, I might make a mod just for that.

Could you add compatibility with EPOE it seems if you have advanced bionics you can't put on the boots or gloves as it says you're missing the body parts..

@Doomdrvk that is an issue with bionics not this mod. The boots equip onto feet and gloves equip onto hands, as you would expect. Bionic arms do not have hands and bionic legs do not have feet. You would need a mod that changes bionics.

@Guardian Titere, I could try that, however textures is my weakest area of modding so it would eaither be super time consuming or look horrible.

If you want to you can use the code from this mode to make a reskinned version, or provide me with some textures.

I would like to make a clothing/armor mod at some point with diffrent uniforms - which your request would fit just fine, but I have no ETA on when I will start that project.

I built a creamator to burn apparel and when they put on deadmans stuff I tell them to take it off and burn it. Then I crafted gear and had them use that.
You can always go into outfit settings and tell them to not use gloves or boots at all. You can then force use non deadmans gear or wait untill you have enough for everyone and enable it again.
I know there are mods to remove deadmans but I dont think any for A18 yet.

Love the mod - thank you. My pawns are constantly wearing deadman gloves, boots and dealing with that is a pain. Is there something that I, you can do about it?

Bionic arms do not have hands and bionic legs do not have feet. Unless you get a mod that adds hands and feet to bionics then it wont work :(

I havent done much testing on existing damaged armor, but I did remove the mod in one of my games and some of the armor had something like -1 hp. My guess is that after removeing the mod your armor will get destroyed? On the A17 version I had 1 person report that if pawns using the power armor were on fire long enough it burnt off... try not to get lit on fire much.

alright then, also is there any problem with existing damaged armor? I dont want my pawns to disappear into oblivion bcause i installed a cheaty mod :p

There are no known issues with loading this mod on an old save. Every time I create a mod I load it onto an old save, and make sure everything is working before posting it. :D

Colonists should no longer spawn with power armor boots or gloves.

probable bug :in a new game all my pawns had power armor gloves and same with raider
(note that i had no other mod active)

Normal power armor covers: Torso, Neck, Shoulders, Arms and Legs. - Layer: Middle and Shell
Normal power helmets cover: FullHead - Layer: Overhead

This mod does not change that.

The added boots protect: Feet - Layer OnSkin
The added gloves protect: Hands - Layer OnSkin

Does this mean the normal power armor no longer protects the feet and hands, or does this keep the protection and add another layer on top when the gloves and boots are worn?

Update: Resized gloves and boots. Edited graphics on bottom of boots to be less cutt off and flat looking.

perhapse but many on ground representitives look strange if you compair the size...

Botd and gloves could use being shrunken a bit as they look so weird compared to helmet.
