i dont give a single fuck about online compatible so if you could make a mod to where the chinese arent using egyptian swords than that would be awesome. otherwise, the khopesh mod is worthless as it looks retarded having Chinese warriors use egyptian swords. sorry, Im a history nut and not trying to come off as a dick.

My suggestion would be make a dao mod, and alternate when playing different civilisations. I say dao because the Egyptians would be more likely to survive with a sword that could pass for a scimitar.

Sorry, that's not an "either/or" in terms of Jian or Dao, that's an either or in terms of Jian or Khopesh. Egyptian and Chinese units apprently use the same swords so you get one or the other. It's not ideal, but if I mod the anim files it won't be online compatible.

Right. They're both about as old as each-other, so it's up to you. Personally, I think the dao looks more unique, though.

I already had Jian and Dao swords on the to do list but if what you say is true, it means FE used Egyptian swords for the Chinese units so it's going to be an "either/or" situation.

I've also noted that the Khepesh mod turns Chinese swords into Khepesh. Maybe make a Jian or Dao mod to counteract this?

Maybe turn the Throwing Axeman weapon into a francisca? Those were neat little axes.
