hay when i spawn in the yeti i cant see it i can only see its bone structure

maxxy has asked the sfm team, im pretty sure they didnt respond. he has made a new model and is coming out soon i believe

I know valve has the hwm version of this model because look at it on the main menu. I hope maxxy either asks valve for it or makes it himself.

it doesn't have $transparent, I mean the alpha channel of the texture

I don't think a model needs to have $transparent if it's just using the alpha channel as a phongmask. I'm pretty sure you only need vmt commands to specify if you want to use something else as the phongmask.

it's transparent because it tells what parts to add phong

Nevermind, I just changed its vtf. It's transparent for some reason if you convert it into png. I exported it as tga and opend with Photoshop. That fixes it.

Fun Fact: The Yeti's armature is shared with Heavy, due to this model being created and modified from the Heavy Yeti cosmetics first, as they were created a while back for Mayann. I loved using the head, and still use iti n my mods.tf folder. However, I... was suprised about both the gorilla chest (which the Yeti did not have in the comics) and the... y'know. Yeti Ass.

Is its fur paintable? I've only found a way to tint some parts of the skin (eyebrows, fingers,..).

Fun Fact: The skeletal structure of the yeti model is the same as Heavy's skeletal structure, so Heavy animations will work perfectly with this model.

Well, exporters using GFScape to port stuff. Yeti is a taunt actually, so it's got ported fast. Unlikely saxton hale or miss pauling - they need to be re-modeled.
