Refits are important, empyrion changed over the years especially if you play RE, im keeping this anyway maybe i will personally do it for private usage as it was one of the first ships i used during my journeys thanks for that.

Yeah, Empyrion mechanics have shifted over the years and I haven't updated my work to keep pace. My enjoyment of the game was waning for some time, but the CPU system was the final nail in the coffin.

At this point, the Aetheria is little more than a pretty shell, and will require extensive internal overhaul in order to restore basic mobility and operations. She hails from a time when it took hundreds of RCS to make an SV of this scale move, and I have zero interest or motivation in reworking it myself these days.

And 2 shafts for Size6 on sides where lazer drill getting 50% range wasted?

Also had to re-fit core with Vent to drop in CPU booster - cause it wont take off.

Otherwise, besides fragile coating and top-trunk for fast boarding - it is what it is - visual appealing comfort liner.

Nice polish, it gave me a few ideas as an interlocking transport into a battle harness, now just getting the mechanics and circuits to talk to each to become a controller of the other on two separate items.

A nice job on this. I was a bit disappointed that the beds are not usable. Not for extended cruising I guess.

Because this is an old design from back when 150+ RCS were needed to make an SV this size turn worth a damn, and CPU didn't exist. I'm sorry to say that I no longer have much interest in EGS, and lack any motivation to try updating it to more recent standards.
The good news is, a version of it exists in the game already as the 'KVE Aetheria LTS' prefab, which to my knowledge should be more up-to-date and CPU-compliant.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but when I build this, there are over 150 RCS blocks in this design which breaks the CPU requirements of this ship. I find that only a couple of RCS blocks are needed, so why the huge spam?

I tried to find all the RCS blocks, but they're simply everywhere, and almost impossible to get rid of without destroying the ship in the process.

The elegant design and all those little details (oven, chess board, symbols out of stripes, decoration columns) show just how much heart you put into this. Really brilliant!

I haven't updated this BP in a very long time, and unfortunately the CPU system utterly broke it. Fortunately, a similar variant (updated by Vermillion) is already one of the stock blueprints, and should function just fine.

If you want something even fancier, try the ALV Phaetusa by CrazyZ. It's basically what the Aetheria would look like, if it were built by someone competent.

Almost certainly. If nothing else, I feel an obligation to keep the BPs that were adopted as prefabs current - the Aetheria, Argentspire, and Basalt (base T1b I think?).

I play mostly Survival and wanted to convert a Vesel to a mobile Base so i can ditch my Base. I used your work and build a CV with your design. It is quite big :D Since i read that many people in the community wanted a CV version of this beautiful design, i wanted to ask if i may publish the CV Version?

Your the designer of the Prefab version found in the base game. Cool, thought it was too luxurious for a Dev build.

I hate to disappoint, but I have no plans to turn this particular design into a CV. There are a lot of reasons why, but fear not - a luxury CV to compliment the Aetheria will someday see the light of day.

However, Myrmidon has been working on a pretty faithful conversion, so if you truly thirst for that Aetheria CV, I encourage you to support his efforts on that :)
