Most Imperial lasers are green in order to distinctively identify them as Imperial; especially helpful in 4-way all-faction battles.
The same goes for the other factions. Generally, the following applies for lasers:
Rebels = red
Consortium = yellow
Hutts = purple

There have been some major changes over the last few versions that make ISD-II spamming much less effective. In particular, turbolaser damage against shielding has been reduced across the board for all units. This makes mixing in ISD-Is crucial to help beat down shields. Thrawn's capital ship defense passive has also been moved to Daala recently which is very important when spamming ISDs.
As for the Tier 5 damage upgrade, it has never been a 100% bonus in any iteration of SoaFE and changing it would probably make the Empire super overpowered.
The next minor version of SoaFE will also remove Pestelous the Hutt's ship defense part of his passive so end-game Hutts should be less obnoxious to deal with.

As the consortium is very aggressive in corruption , i think the chance to have fleet and field commander able to remove corruption would help a lot (similar with what happend in other mod like Absolut Corruption mod ) , also since all my other heroes able to do that are always busy in battle far away.
Actually the only contermesure was to avoid to build any land structure thing that is somehow a pity.
