"Steam\steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\custom\workshop" instead of "Steam\steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\custom\workshop"
If inside the "custom" folder doesn't have workshop folder, create one and put the vpk file inside it.
It actually works for me, because all the other sound mod (which worked for me) it always put everything inside the "workshop" folder which inside the "custom" folder.
If you subscribed to a mod that has the word muzzle, it may have been uploaded to the "custom" folder.
And no, weapon skins can't cause conflicts with this mod unless they bring particles for these, for example a personalized blue muzzle effect for a futuristic weapon skin, where in the file the rest of the particles are the originals.
Before confirming this, go to the folder
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\222880\1172748221
And copy the .vpk file without the cache to
Steam\steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\custom
And let me know if you're still having this problem.
The first photos are of other weapons that were completely suppressed the muzzle effect and they are working correctly.
