Spherikals mod wins out of all the border mods because of this.
I have edited ALL of the .dds images found in your mod and replaced them by adding a large dark dot in the middle of the blue/yellow color bars (so the dark dots on the blue/yellow background make it easy to spot).
However in game some of the borders are not showing any difference at all, some are showing the dots (but a bit distorted) and some are just looking weird and even twitching a bit.
How does the game actually utilize these border_diffuse and border_internal_diffuse images?
Do i do it through RPFM or somehow else?
Thank you for helping.
I did as you said and saw your mod has two .dds files
Should i somehow image edit those .dds images so they are brighter or replace them with other images?
Or is there a simplistic brightness number tweak i can do without actually editing these .dds images?
Thank you again.
Could you please consider making an "extreme" version of this mod where borders are as max bright as possible?
I am having trouble seeing borders in many terrains (desert, snow...) even with your current Brighter Borders mod :(
Its quite annoying :)
ATM the only way to see region is to wait for the terrain tooltip to show up and read it for the location.. and do this inch by inch until you find where it changes.
Not fun.
I have opened Data pack in RPFM and found the border_diffuse.dds files but I have no idea how to edit them or what I would need to do. :(
Sorry to bother you, just wondering if this is even possible. Thank you.
