@Tyrannohotep The Ptolemies WERE European, there are no "beliefs" to be had. Ptolemy was a general and friend of Alexander the Great. After Alexander's death, his empire was divided among his generals into what was known as the "Successor Kingdoms." One of these was Egypt, which Ptolemy ruled. The leaders, aristocrats, scholars, and commanders were all Greek but the lower population was very diverse.

The leader is clearly represented to be more European-looking so I took a dig at how people do the "We Wuz Kangz" thing surrounding Egyptians. Honestly, I have a feeling Keniisu was being sarcastic or trolling. Whatever your beliefs about the "race" of the indigenous ancient Egyptians, you can't seriously say the inclusion of another Ptolemaic leader who is clearly being portrayed as European-looking is "black people being well-represented".

@Jojobe - Pardon? This Ptolemy was the first of the lot, from Macedonia prior to the conquest. Northern Greek. And even if it was one of the later Ptolemies / Cleopatras, the dynasty was notoriously inbred and had very little if any mixture with the local populace.

@Nathan do you have a time machines to know what they look like. The first ever pharaoh of egypt was king Naumer of southern egypt who were of Nubian decent. the entire north part of egypt is a mixture of meditterean and black skin colored afrians. Polemy was north african with a mixture of meditteraen of black african. I tell yah the stygma people give black people is horrible. Black skin is beautiful. You stay out in the sun all day with fair skin then compare the two.

@Kentisu but Ptolemy was Greek, he wasn't even Egyptian. Heck the Egyptians weren't even black as such, they were North African people who looked pretty much like modern Egyptians today. Most 'black' people in Egypt would have come from Nubia further south, most notably the 25th or Kushite dynasty of the Third Intermediate Period.
