Yeah, usually games make guns sound more "Buffier", but IRL thats not always the case.

Reminder the guns' sounds are from real guns, confirmed a developer.

No need, WeaponsUpgrade mod doesn't touch the audio files, so they're already compatible! Just checked.

It's fine with me if you want to repack the weaponsupgrade mod and include your realistic gun sound. You can upload it as your workshop item if you plan on doing it. Otherwise, you can also make edits to the values on the weapon and create your own damage levels ;)

I haven't tried it yet. I was just checking beforehand. There IS one mod I'm hoping it's compatible with, but with where I am in the game, it could take a while to test it. http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=948528656 The weaponsupgrade mod that makes guns more powerful so that they kill enemies more efficiently.

It depends. Some skins include the vanilla sounds redundantly (which means this won't work with them.) If they don't include audio, they should work fine.

Which skins are you trying to use it with? Currently Realistic Weapons is incompatible but I've got a version which combines the two.

Yes, indeed the sound is much more realistic now with added echo effects that should sound right in a confine space/room. Good work.
