true, make it like have the ancient nord bird head thats on the Nordic armor (Dragonborn DLC) but as a design in black.

I want to subscribe to this but I'm bothered that this is a replacement of all the ancient armor in the game.. This would be absolutely perfect as a Heroic Armor set that can be smithed in the same was as the Ancient Nord Heroic weapons: Provide a vanilla ancient helmet with required smithing components and skill and be able to make these armor pieces.

The armor is after all ancient. Keeping my game lore friendly it makes sense that the ancient armor you find is weathered and beaten. Using this armor that has been leveled and clean would make perfect sense. Just my two cents; great looking mod just doesn't work for me

On the standalone will the armor rating be about the same as orcish and plate armor

I think you should remove the steel tips on the horns though. Other than that, it complaments the Weapons great.

The standalone version I am currently working on will be less shiny but It had to be somehow brighter than the old versions ;)

I liked the look of what you did with the weapons, but i think this doesnt' really suit as well. I'm not being rude or anything, but it just looks, imo, a bit too shiny for this sort of style. Sorry.
