It forces gmod to take advantage of a 4-core CPU, improving FPS, mostly during npc battles and so this does not affect the graphics of the game.

Well because of the only optimisation method available now , it only works if you have a multicore cpu, (But surely it will change soon when i will add other optimization methods)
