I might rework the mod to be just straight objs (since these do have the stackable chip type), was just told that chip type was coming to assetbundles soon™ so I held off on that. When time allows for it I'll see what I can do about it.

Not currently because assetbundles do not have access to the chip type.

Is it possible to have the money stack with similar denominations and make hovering the cursor over a stack of bills (or a box selection of multiple types of bills) show the total amount of money?

I really like these! My only complaint is that they don't sound like paper when picking them up and dropping them.
