Do you think you could turn one of these ships into an attack boat mod? Ofc, lowering the size of it and all, it would be pretty cool to battle with cannons and muskets/flintlocks and pirate ships on Archipelago or something.

@mr_scope I'm not too sure, SR7 released a patch that fixed things on my end. I don't think I can help.

I love this one. I force the weapons to muskets, bayonets and sabres and then have a good old fashioned 18th century brawl. If I could recommend one change to this map it would be to give the teams period appropriate skins.

XD yeah it is but itbecomes unplayable within the first 5 or os minutes as the bots spam explosives.

@DodgeDoge yes I will make some new ships sink in future. I am preoccupied atm so updates will probably be a rarety - dont expect an update for the next 3 weeks or so

@Milkshake yeah I'm not really sure where I was going with the invisible wall, the island was only meant to be a background but I can make that part of the map as well

This is quite an enjoyable map, however it would be improved so much if you simply removed that eyesore of an invisible wall before the island

I'll comprimise, only the boxes and a few other things will be movable. It's not really what anyone wants but it meets halfway

If you made the ships destructible it might ruin the map because of lag if you can make them destructible

My knowledge of how to use unity is limited so it mightm take a while to get a destructible ship working right.

Any of them to be honest! I really enjoy the destroyable objects on the Air Superiority map with the bridge, lighthouse and other buildings and I think it would be cool to have it happen on a ship map. Espesically if the ships can be made to get damaged and sink.

Although hard as all hell, It's a cool idea I think.

It would be hard to make all individual parts of the ship destructrible but I can deffinately make some of the parts dewstructable, just lemme know which ones you want destructible

Is it somehow possible to make these ships destroyable/sinkable using objects in the editor? Like those new destroyable maps?

At the moment, when you're trying to capture a flag, the enemy will spawn right next to you, so that capturing is only possible with an overwhelming force, and with overwhelming luck. if the enemy were to spawn below deck, or even on the next ship over, this would make things a bit more reasonable.

you must have the steam version of ravenfield. Then you subscribe to the map and then it will be in the map selection menu when u start up the game.

Just a heads up to everyone, for soem reason my map is a bit broken and I can't seem to upload the new update. I'm working on trying to fix it but it will probably be very delayed.

Well actually there were lots such as the gatling gun but obviously that wasn't handheld. But what about rifles and dragoons and ketchum grenades

again, I have no idea how to use blender so unfortunately I cant make custom models or animations. I don't think there were many weapons in the american civil war anyway
