the point is to change at least 1 byte of data(like a name change in a table) to make it react and upload to the workshop correctly, your mod is still stuck by what happened with steam workshop years ago

Grizzly you have the 0. MB bug it happened to all modders a long time ago, just go into the tables and change anything at all, even the name of a table would be enough and then reupload.

I really like the mod especially for cinematic battles but I prefer the assassin looking helmets. The ordinary Dreadspear helmets dont look as cool on the dark riders

Couldn't you use Norscan horses instead so it's not where that's overly bulky piece of non-DE looking armour on the front of the horses?

I dont know much about the lore, but it is sure laughable to see those horses trying to charge at you...Dark elf faction to me (imo) seems to have an intimidating factor about them,why wouldn't they want horses healthy and mean looking, espically for battle. The default horses don't match that. Glad they looks so much better! Nice work.

Thanks for this, I'm glad someone took it upon themselves to fix the Dark Elves horses. I recall nothing in the lore that would suggest that Dark Riders and Dark Elves in general treat their horses so poorly that they look like they're about to starve. While the Druchii aren't quite caring or empathetic compared to their Ulthuan cousins they still should see the value of keeping their steeds healthy. It probably doesn't do well to have a dying horse beneath you in a charge.

This is a good mod, I'm tired of CA going overboard with their creativity at the expense of lore and immersion. Vampire Counts don't corrupt the damn land, not really. Dark Elves don't have almost undead-like horses. Not even their models are like that.

@Karlos Danger Those horses are just stylized and have highlighted features. They are just normal black elven horses.

I like the horse look but I would rather prefer that the riders remained the same. But good job, I really like the chaos horses so I am definetly using this mod.

@beelzial CA just lifted the horse from models Games Workshop put out, ya know, because its a game based off Games Workshop's art. https://www.games-workshop.com/resources/catalog/product/600x620/99120212010_DarkRiderBanner360.jpg Notice how the horse model looks exactly like the model ingame, what an oddball interpretation of the setting

It's not Warhammer having an "oddball setting when it comes to aesthetics", it's CA having an oddball interpretation of the Warhammer lore when they design the models. In the lore the dark elf horses are basically just normal elven black horses.

Although I probably won't be using this as the horses are too chaos-y, I'll still say thanks for trying. It really bugs me how Dark Elf steeds are done, when in lore they're just as healthy as normal horses.

Many thanks for sharing this. With your mod they look as I imagined them before playing the game. Warhammer really seems to be an oddball setting when it comes to aesthetics. Glad modders like you are around to offer some alternate designs.

Heh, one would think that for all the "we're really evil" theme of the dark elves that the commanding officers would have the means to enforce proper care and armor for something as valuable as a fully trained warhorse.

Don't listen to 'em, Grizzly. It's a mod- it changes things. If you don't want it changed, then don't subscribe! Simple as that!

I think mods are there for people to change things they would prefer to be different. That's what I've done - please feel free to not subscribed should you disagree with the blasphemous actions I have done!
